Palest of amber pour with white head. Nose is a catty pine with mild mango/tropical fruits and light lemon wedge. Somewhat vegetal. Flavor is more catty pine with barely a touch of honey biscuit malt. Moderately dry with lively carbonation that promotes the mouthfeel a bit. Light, easy drinker. Could easily drink all day, but definitely one-dimensional Cleaner and would prefer to Lagunitas DayTime.

Location/Date:Bottle on 3/9/2013.

Appearance: Pours a light orange.
Aroma: Aroma of light pine hop.
Taste: Light hop flavor of pine, nothing too strong.
Palate:Light body.

Summary: It’s hard for me to give a good total score for this beer. It sets out to do what it wants to do, a lighter abv IPA, but then is grouped together in the regular IPA category. Good beer for what it’s meant to be.

Well this finally showed up in the Northeast, CT to be exact. No bottle date on the neck? Ok...either way it just popped up so its fresh as hell. A - Pours a rather clear golden amber body. A fingers worth of white foam fades away quickly, decent lacing. S - Woah, tropical fruit bomb. Papaya, mango, peach...the whole gang is here. A bit of biscuity malt and pine/dankness to balance it all out. T - Tropical fruits lead into light biscuity malts. Man, this is tasty as all hell!! Just loads of peaches. M - Light to medium bodied, lighlty creamy with ample carbonation. I could drink this all day so mission accomplished. O - This is an awesome beer and I love the lower abv. Do not love the price though. $11 for a six pack at a reasonable store? Oy....this is a touch pill to swallow.

12 oz bottle This is a gift from a friend. The IPA pours a deep gold color. The ale was clear to hazy with a small head. The nose had some citrus resin with herbal notes. The flavor had citrus hops balanced with malt that work very well together. The medium body ale had average carbonation. The finish was dry and clean with bitterness in the upper mouth. This is a nice IPA when you are having more than one.

Bottled 021813. Drank from the bottle. Smells of floral hops and tropical fruit and slight malts. Taste is again with the tropical fruits and just enough malt backbone. Slight bitterness and nice clean and dry finish. Good medium body that makes it win over the Lagunitas Daytime. Really like this one.

Bottle. Amber bodied with a short, foamy white head. Aroma is floral hops, grassy notes, citrus and light caramel. Taste is floral hops, soft citrus, big grassy hops, toasted malt and soft caramel. Body is medium with a dense, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more floral hops, grassy hops, toasted malt, soft grains and light caramel.

This is a beer I have been waiting for and it comes as no surprise that it is from Founders. A low alcohol IPA which tastes like a regular IPA. I can drink several of these and still keep my bearings straight. I do love their Centennial and this beer isn’t that far off. True, it is not a standard IPA but it tastes like one and doesn’t knock me on my arse after a few bottles. Not a bargain buy but I will be drinking this one as I need to stay away from the higher ABV.

Draft at churchkey. Smells like sweaty armpits and hops. Dry tastes of hops and citrus. Amber color, smooth, light foamy head.

Tap. Pours mostly clear amber with average, creamy white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is grassy and dank hops, cereal and cookie malts, dates, light toast, and light pine. Flavor is chewy, bready malts, dank and pine hops, light spice, light fruit esters, and some light funk; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Growler from Casanovas in Hudson, WI. Nice floral hop, with some citrus and pineapple notes. Taste is some very light pine hop, light bitterness, great all day long ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
