355ml bottle. Pours orange/golden colour and a small off-white head. There are notes of citrus, flowers, pine and some malt. Moderately sweet and bitter with a long, dry and bitter finish. Light-bodied with medium carbonation.

Bottle over lunch on offer at an unassuming café in Wahroonga, Sydney Golden beer, holds a good white foam. Nice hop drive aroma; pine, citrus, light caramel malts. Medium bodied, full carbonation, nice malt texture, Plenty to offer on the body. Good malt backbone, biscuity, lightly toasted malts pave way for plenty of cedar/pine, grapefruit and spice from hops. Finishes with a firm, but certainly not aggressive bitterness. Begs another sip. Not sure what this "session IPA" fad is all about, but certainly a tasty APA. Highly drinkable. Good to see Founders beers making an appearance down here, even in little cafés, where one would usually order a wine because the beer list would usually be dreadful...times are a changing!

Bottle from Glug, Newcastle. This pale golden beer has sweet tropical fruit and juicy orange marmalade flavours with a sweet light fruity and pine finish. Excellent!

Copperish, clear and bubbly beer with a very small head. Sweet and fruity aroma, mango, persimon. Quite bland tasting at first. Little grassiness. Not a lot of crispiness even if it has so many bubbles. Quite thin. Better than average market beer or ale. There is some bitterness but it still manages to be a little bland and watery.

My go-to beer for all day sipping. The aroma lets you know it’s an IPA, and it carries all the way through a long but pleasing finish. With the low alcohol, the bitterness is definitely the highlight here, but it isn’t overpowering.
