Bottle from Wegmans. Pours clear copper with a small white head that is gone before you realize.. big carbonation in the glass and minimal lacing. The aroma has pine, garlic, citrus, a little caramel. A nice inviting beer. The taste has a light bitterness, garlic / onion hop notes, a little earthiness. Overall, an easy drinking ipa that is amazing for the low ABV.

Resin and grapefruit nose. Very well balanced. Nothing sticks out but that’s the point with this one. Really low abv, drinking this is very easy

Bottle from random Long Island Budverage Center. Bright golden copper with ring. Citrusy grassy hops aroma. Mild crackery malt sweetness and apricot fruity sweetness with assertive grapefruit rind and pine very dry bitterness. I little watery as expected. Pretty good, especially for abv.

Brewvival 2013. Clear golden pour with a small head. Aroma was piney with nice citrusy notes. Flavors were light and hoppy with nice well rounded hop flavors. Very light body and drinkable. Should make a nice session when bottles arrive. Looking forward to it.

12oz bottle in a plastic cup. Aroma of citrus and floral hops plus some pale and light caramel malts. Flavor about the same. Average texture. A pretty good IPA but I would like more malts.

A deep orange brew with a thin bright white head. The nose has some rich grapefruit and leather. There is also some earthy leather. Tastes of grass grapefruit rinds mix with some aspirin. Notes of green wood come through in the finish. There is absolutely no malt body to balance the hop juice flavors. Wow, this is surprisingly bad, especially for Founders.

Can’t wait to return up north to "get me some." In the meantime, Lagunitas IPA will have to do but I’d brave the cold and snow to "hit" that All Day IPA!

Bottled. Poured clear, lighter golden with a short, white head. The aroma picked up grassy and citrusy hops over soft bready malts.. aiight. The flavor found bitter floral and orange zesty bitterness over dry pale and bready notes.. finished dry and tangy. Light-bodied and tangy on the palate. . Ok feel and flow.

Malty, good balance between biterness and alcohol. Nice aromas and good carbonatation, really good beer to enjoy.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2013 12 pz bottle to glass. bottle from Jason/umich in trade. Really like the aroma on this - a sticky kind of citrus hop bomb. beer looking pour Taste for me was the meh ipa - not much on the malt side and hops weren’t enjoyable to me.
