12oz bottle into founders snifter. Iíve had this before but didnít review it. This starts off as one would expect with a nice floral nose that makes me think more cascade than anything. Little hints of citrus and no real malt or sweetness coming through. The look of your standard lite copperish hue with a nice big white frothy head. Perfectly clear with no sediment. Tastes of hop bite and small malt hints, slightly tasteless. Nice lite body and the low abv is noticeable but not a drawback. Overall itís best when free.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2013 Big pine and grapefruit aroma with little else. Flavor is similar. Not nearly as complex, tasty, or malt balanced as their marvelous Centennial. Disappointed. I understand they wanted something more sessionable here, but itís still not even good by that standard. RERATE: Wow, this got even worse as it sat for a few days in the fridge. Most beers get better that way, but this just turned up the pine and cat pee. Canít stand this sort of IPA. Drainpour. :/

12oz bottle, pours a clear medium golden. Nice floral hoppy aroma. Taste is hoppy, floral, grassy, light and crisp. Nice and refreshing, would be a great choice to toss back on a summer day.

February 2013 bottle to Dogfish Head IPA glass. Pours a bright golden color with a foamy white head that shrinks quickly. Aroma is a pleasant grass and piney hops with citrus notes. Taste is malt forward with the hops coming in the middle and finishing with a little grassy bitterness. The malt provides a slight sweetness that amplifies the hops , in a good way. Thin mouthfeel. Uncomplicated and pleasant, which I suppose is the point since its designed to be a session beer. It's a good introductory IPA for someone unsure of the style, as well as a good casual drinking beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear light gold with a decent white head and little lacing. Fresh cut grass aroma with citrus, grapefruit and hint of sweet malt. Hops take lead role in the taste with the citrus and grassy flavors with only a hint of sweetness. Moderate amount of bitterness follows mid palate and builds, ending with a bit of grain. Medium body with lively carbonation and bitter dry finish. Not overly complex but flavorful and hits the mark as a drinkable session ale. ---Jeremy H

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. Crystal clear golden amber pour with a small head. Awesome aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, and a hint of pine. Smooth moderate palate, medium carbonation. Taste has a hop edge but is well balanced. Really nice beer.

Bottled February 11, 2013.
Appearance: The body is clear with an amber hue that sits placid, the head is tall and dense producing a rocky coating that slowly dissipates.
Aroma: The aroma smells tropical with some mango and pineapple that come to mind, but oranges and a touch of grapefruit are also here. This smells very nice.
Taste: The taste is maltier than the aroma gives off with a touch of toasted malts and some malt sweetness, the hops are balanced nicely providing a moderate bitterness of citrus. This reminds me a bit of grapefruit in the flavor, but not very strong.
Palate: Full bodied with soft carbonation that fizzes up a touch.
Overall: This is a nice beer, especially at the ABV itís at. I think I prefer Lagunitas Daytime to this though if I had to choose. Either way this is a solid beer, I just wish it was available at a more sessionable price.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan body, thin white head. Big fruity, tropical hop aroma..very nice. Wow, this is really great. Big fresh hop character, with a hyper clean malt backbone. Remarkably refreshing and mellow on the palate. Phenomenal beer.
