3.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 8/20
Looked for India Session Ale after ratebeer newsletter. Solid summer choice for hop heads. Foamy light head tending toward bouldering. Tangerine peel on nose. Lemon peel and pine taste. Pallette lingers but not blown away. Very nice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Orange gold with a diminishing foam. Aromas are pineapple and grapefruit with toast malts and yeast. Spicy with lemon and candy sugar. Floral with grain and citrus rind. Flavours are trtropical fruit with bitter lemon and grapefruit. Biscuit and low brown sugar with caramel. Quite herbal, spicy and fruity. Simple yet effective.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer was low on alcohol content but not short of bitterness and hop flavor and aroma. Great aroma of hops with a citrus and grapefruit note along with the flavor. Very good session beer

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma escapes me thanks to my crappy sinuses. Pours pale yellow/tan with little head. Taste is very much citrus, almost to the point of sour, with hops bitterness. The body is very, very light so itís very, very drinkable. Not a bad beer, but not for me.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
The aroma is great, full of citrus, pine and caramel. Pours a beautiful amber color with healthy white head. The flavor is mild sweetness, heavy bitterness but falls flat towards the end. For how refreshing and light it is I can definitely handle the more mild flavor.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear golden orange with minimal head. Aromas of spicy slightly citrusy hops with some lemon coming through. Taste is clean citrus hops, more lemon, and a bit of grainy, mealy malt. Finish is clean with some lingering rindy bitterness.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: (8- very high quality) Caramel malts with a bit of cereal, moderate orange hop presence that is rich despite the relatively low ABV.
Appearance: (5- world class) Beautiful copper pour with perfect carbonation, sticky, bubbly and ever present bone head.
Flavor: (8- very high quality) Matches the nose- nice and orangey; semi sweet malts, thirst quenching.
Palate: (4- high quality) Full body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, long finish.
Overall: Excellent; my favorite session IPA thus far.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2013 I love Founders and really wanted to try to this. I was ultimately disappointed. Itís not terrible, but not where I would place with the rest Founderís catalogue. Pale orange appearance, strong smell that is completely dominated by grapefruit. The taste is definitely grapefruit as well, perhaps a little pine. Just kind of one note and flat. I think needs a little more malt and higher ABV to round out, but I know the whole point was to keep it low. Not really bad, but not their best.
