(bottle) Pale, clear body with a small white head. Strong grapefruit aroma; grass, moderate caramel and spice. Light bodied, some carbonation. Very dry; grapefruit, herbal, strong acidity.

Bottle. Pours clear copper/orange with a perfect 2 finger white head. Aroma is strong pine and resinous hops. Taste is focused on the resinous hops with some faint citrus notes and a nice earthy character on the finish. Mouthfeel is incredibly soft and a late developing tickle from the carb makes an appearance. I'm shocked at how good this is for a session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear light copper. No head. Smells awfully hoppy. Very drinkable. Well balanced. Not dominating. Im liking this.

Pour is a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is piney hop with some onion. Flavor is big time onion with a resiny finish. No real malty backbone and kinda thin all around. Lots of oniony hop though. Summit hops are supposed to give off the onion flavor and I’m guessing that is what was used. At 4.7 I still would not consider this a session beer. I think 3.2 would fit the category better.

Clear coppery orange. Small fizzy white head, almost no retention. Aroma is sweet, citrus, pine, lemon, grapefruit, fresh and clean. Flavor much the same. Medium body. Sweet with medium bitterness in finish. Fresh, clean, balanced, silky smooth. Definitely sessionable.

Pretty much tastes like really fresh, dry-hopped bud light. I don’t really mean that as a dig, either....it’s crisp, clean, goes down easy. There’s a lot of hop aroma, and not much hop palate; nor is there any body to it at all. I get the idea, and it’s a good one, just needs a little more.

Appearance: Pours with a nice three finger head, but it goes down pretty quickly. What’s left behind is a thin, white layer of foam. Patchy lacing. Beer’s a very slightly hazy sunset yellow/orange color. Smell: Holy hops. This beer isn’t shy about it either. Heavy hop aromas, with a largely predominant grapefruity smell. Taste/feel: Straight away, I found with Ale la Reverend by Short’s that I’m not a huge fan of these "Light IPAs" as I refer to them. This has an extremely piney, resinous, and hoppy flavor with very little to no malts to be traced -- surprisingly decent. For the style, this is the best session IPA I’ve had. However, I’d rather have a full-on IPA. Too long/didn’t read: This would make for a pretty average IPA, but it makes for an above average session IPA.

Big ups to my man slovak for hooking me up with this as an extra in a trade. Pours nice and golden with a chunk of frothy head. Nice aroma, bits of grapefruit and citrus goodness. Well balanced, smooth up front, with a bit of sweetness and then a nice hoppy finish. well done.
