Hoppy? Check. Crisp amber in color? Check. Slight white head? Check. This is an easy drinking IPA. Above average.

12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Dating noted under neck label, though it is smudged.

Appearance: Pours a crystal clear, golden body with an inch (or more) head of agreeable, white foam.

Smell: Fragrantly hoppy nose, as one would expect, with notes of plump citrus fruits, florals, and a grassy, earthy tone where somebody cut the grass and ran down some wild onions in the yard. Very modest, restrained, lightly bready malts underneath.

Taste: Mildly malt, just a bit of breadiness and sweetish hint of cookie until the accumulating hop bitterness shoves it off the stage. Invitingly hoppy, with a floral, earthy, citrusly fruity character and more than ample bitterness. Maybe a hint of wild ramp. Juicy, bitterish, light-on-the-tongue finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Brightly hoppy with a bitterness that was dominating but not overbearing or disagreeable.

Pours a clear golden with a nice white head. The aroma is fresh and leafy hops with tinge of pine resin. On the palate, the hops blast you with a fresh grassy herbal flavor, but the malt backbone is a little bit weak. You can’t help the cognizance that this is a session beer. For what it is, it is well executed, but not exciting.

12oz bottle from Premier Gourmet. Very clear, very bubbly brassy gold with a huge fluffy somewhat diminishing white bubbly head. Catty, resiny aroma, light tropical fruit, hardly any sweetness or alcohol presence - just about perfect, really, if restrained. Taste follows - catty, balanced, acidic, light alcohol. Light-to-average body, oily and slick, solid carbonation, quickish finish for something so pungent. Very nice - quite a lot like the new version of the Phillips Hop Circle IPA, but better balanced, not quite as rampantly catty.

Bottle. Pours a crystal clear orange amber, sparkling in the sun. Small off-white head that dissipates with good lacing Aroma is very nice, reminiscent of Zombie Dust, grapefruit and a touch of pine. Flavor is somewhat harsher than Zombie, lightly sweet and light plus bitterness, with more pine notes present. Light bodied, but not watery. All in all a beer I would love to have ready access to on a hot summer day.

On tap. Pours a clear light yellow orange with a thick white head. Aroma of grassy hops, pot, citrus, garlicky hops. Flavor is very garlicky and grassy as well with earthy malt, hop cones, perfume, and pine in the finish. There is an odd taste in the finish as well which is off-putting, not sure what it is. Overall ok, not one of my favorite lighter IPAs. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)

Love the floral hop aroma! The pour is a murky orange w/ a thin white head that doesn’t leave lacing. The taste is both floral & a touch of bitterness. It’s very smooth & drinkable. It’s about as clean as u can find for an IPA. Good stuff!

" Only available in Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, and Chicagoland" --WTF! I just brought this in Hampton, NH not an hour ago. Oh, well. Shouldn’t read into everything listed on this site. But I’ve been dying to try this ever since it came out so I’m just excited. Made a 6pack and this was one of the options picked . Purchased from Top Shelf Brews in Hampton. To snifter it pours a gorgeous clear amber-pigmented golden orange with a trim whitish ring which rested atop. Smells and tastes of grassy & medicinal hops, edmame, plastic, American yeast, guava, grapefruit zest, pineapple, and chalk. Fucking delicious! Its score needs to be higher!

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2013 Strong hop aroma and taste... Good bitterness...nice session beer loaded with hop flavor... Very little to offer after initial nose and taste... There is a lingering bitterness but something missing in the middle and end of this beer... Not bad... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
