Aroma escapes me thanks to my crappy sinuses. Pours pale yellow/tan with little head. Taste is very much citrus, almost to the point of sour, with hops bitterness. The body is very, very light so itís very, very drinkable. Not a bad beer, but not for me.

The aroma is great, full of citrus, pine and caramel. Pours a beautiful amber color with healthy white head. The flavor is mild sweetness, heavy bitterness but falls flat towards the end. For how refreshing and light it is I can definitely handle the more mild flavor.

Pours a clear golden orange with minimal head. Aromas of spicy slightly citrusy hops with some lemon coming through. Taste is clean citrus hops, more lemon, and a bit of grainy, mealy malt. Finish is clean with some lingering rindy bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: (8- very high quality) Caramel malts with a bit of cereal, moderate orange hop presence that is rich despite the relatively low ABV. Appearance: (5- world class) Beautiful copper pour with perfect carbonation, sticky, bubbly and ever present bone head. Flavor: (8- very high quality) Matches the nose- nice and orangey; semi sweet malts, thirst quenching. Palate: (4- high quality) Full body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: Excellent; my favorite session IPA thus far.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2013 I love Founders and really wanted to try to this. I was ultimately disappointed. Itís not terrible, but not where I would place with the rest Founderís catalogue. Pale orange appearance, strong smell that is completely dominated by grapefruit. The taste is definitely grapefruit as well, perhaps a little pine. Just kind of one note and flat. I think needs a little more malt and higher ABV to round out, but I know the whole point was to keep it low. Not really bad, but not their best.

Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and floral hops is quite nice and refreshing. Taste is also dominated by clean crisp citrus notes with nice floral undertones. Malt is present with a fuller body then I was expecting considering the ABV. Nice refreshing hoppy IPA with low ABV Ė there should be more of those out there.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2014 [7/13] Bottle. Clear pale amber with a modest white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, passionfruit, a little soap. Thin body getting towards watery. A little caramel sweetness, but really nothing much in terms of malt. Citrus, pine and soap again. Moderate bitterness. Donít think this got here quick enough but itís mainly perfumery anyway. A decent dust cutter. [2.6]

Can. Aroma of grapefruit, passionfruit, pine, baby powder. Watery. Very clean, rather vacant palate with just a little caramel behind the hops. Pine lingers at the crisp finish. Much better, but thereís not much beer in it for 4.7%.

Aroma: Pineapple, grapefruit, lychee and pale malt. Fresh and zingy.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a thin white head that slowly fades. Average carbonation. Nice lacing.

Taste: Tropical fruit with a faint cheesy note. Lemon and biscuit. Bitter finish.

Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation.

Overall: Delicious - reminds me of a slightly weaker version of BrewDogís Punk IPA, which is also excellent.

Strong aroma is VERY hoppy and has a grassy note. Pours a nice clear amber with a frothy and effervescent ivory head. Hoppy flavor is more resiny than woody, barely bitter, a little sweet, with malty and grassy notes. Mouthfeel is on the watery side. OK, maybe this came from a not-so-hot batch since other people have given it a higher rating. I just might give it another try, which I have done with other beers.
