12oz bottle. Very light colored. Very thin and watery. A little light on the malt for my taste. Easy drinking which I suppose was the intention.

On tap at the Bottle Shop. Orange with a white head. The aroma is full of apricot, mangoes and pine. The flavor is similar with a lot of pine and some pineapple and biscuit malt. Low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

I'm not impressed. I bought a 6 pack because I heard good things about this brew. Color is light copper, poured a two finger thick head. Aroma is slight citrus and pine, mainly grapefruit and orange. Taste is comparable to an amber lager or ale as malt is balanced with hops. The bitterness isn't there for me as I like it hoppier. Mouthfeel is watery, slightly malt and slightly bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Crisp copper coloured body with a hint of a orange tint an a thinnish, one centimetre just off-white head. Aroma of pungent aromatic hops with grapefruit and passionfruit the strongest scents. Light-bodied; Sharp hop flavour at first with almost no malt at all and a very light finish only showing hops and water. Aftertaste shows some light grapefruit and bread notes, but a lot of watery flavours and a bit too little malt. Overall, I understand the point of the beer, but it needs a bit more character somewhere - perhaps a lager instead of an ale, perhaps a bit more malt - something. Just look toward Tuppers Hop Pocket Pils for the right way to do this style of beer. I wish I could like this beer more, being from Michigan, but it doesn’t work too well. I sampled this twelve ounce stubby bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 02-April-2013 for US$1.99 sampled at home watching Detroit play Game 1 of the NHL Playoffs this year, on 30-April-2013.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2013 Aroma is mango, tropical fruits, and just a little pine. Can?t describe the pour, because I?m drinking it out of the bottle like one drinking a session beer should. The artwork on this one looks good and says it all. Taste wise, tropical fruits and pine really come through followed by some light caramel and an easy bitter finish. Awesome session beer.

Bottle (12 oz). Golden with almost no head. Everything is subtle in the aroma... citrus, malt, perfumy hops. Taste is slightly sweet and about the same as aroma with a slight hoppy finish. Light to medium body. Sessionable, but could be a little more powerful and would still be drinkable.
