12 oz bottle. Love most stuff by Founders, so I had to pick this up too. Pours an effervescent light golden color with a small off-white head. Smells of great fresh citrus, some hops, a bit of malt. The taste loses much of the citrus smells, with some of the hops still there and malt. Light body, could drink this "all day". Not awful, but the taste is really disappointing compared to the taste.

burg326 (3764) - Florida, USA - MAR 19, 2012
12 ounce bottle that pours a cloudy light gold color, with aromas of citrus, grapefruit, malt, and a kiss of pine. Flavors are citrus up front, and not much hops. This says itís an all day ipa, I guess because there wasnít too much of a hop bite to it. Real nice beer to enjoy outside in the Florida heat.

LtDan (1784) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - MAR 17, 2012
Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a thin retaining white film. Within the body is noticeable active rising bubbles.

Aroma: Citrus/dank nose and a touch of malt sweetness.

Taste: Fruity first, then a little sweet. Finishes with some hop bite that disappears within seconds after the sip.

Mouthfeel: Very thin, juicy. The carbonation level is moderate compared to how it looks within the glass.

Overall: Tasty, inviting, definitely sessionable. I like it a lot.

Sampled at the Irish Hanukkah Tasting. Clear yellow pour with ring of offwhite head. What a welcome change of pace after the hebrew jewbelation vertical. Lovely refreshing citrus green grassy pale ale. grapey. Good lingering bitterness is very enjoyable. I can definitely see why this would be so sessionable.

Bottle shared by Drake at the Irish Chanukah tasting. Pours clear golden orange with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is fragrant floral and perfume hops, light biscuit malt and fruity esters. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, light malt and esters with a dry finish. Light body, warmth, and medium carbonation.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market North Raleigh and shared at the Baltimore Irish Chanukah tasting, 3/17/12. Pours a clear golden color with a thin fizzy off-white head. Decent retention. Aroma of herbal, floral hops and bready malts. The taste is bitter hops, bready slightly toasted malts. Medium bodied, quite drinkable.

Bottle. Light copper color, miniature white head. Nose and flavor is grassy, citrus hops and not much else. Tastes like an IPA mixed with water, though very highly carbonated. I get the idea and itís fine, but I think Iíd rather have a good kolsch or more typical session style than this.

Gold, clean color. Sharp, grassy/straw aroma. Hoppy, but smooth. Definitely can taste that it is a low ABV, but it is not watery. I wouldnít choose over other IPAs, but I would definitely choose it over any other beer I have tried with an under 5.0 ABV.

Bottle. Pours gold with thick white head that dissipates to a thin lacing with good retention. Aroma is grapefruit and straw. Flavor is grapefruit and straw. Nice session beer but not something Iíd seek out unless I needed something low ABV.
