3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from bottle into can shaped glass. Translucent gold color with thin white head. Smell starts out with sweet citrus fruits, with some underlying bready malt. Taste is a blend of citrus and pine hops with some bread. Feel is moist and maybe a little fizzy, but not bad. Overall not bad, but not great. Pretty good for a "session" beer, but there are others I enjoy more.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Golden coloured, not much head. Beautiful aroma with pine and a bit of grapefruit. A medium body, somewhat sweet and medium bitter finish. Less body and bitterness than the typical IPA.

Tap, Katedralen. Smells nice, but is too thin, almost like lager. No aftertaste to speak of.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can BBE: 21/3/15. Intense aromas of tropical/citrus fruits, particularly pineapple, grapefruit and even a hint of coconut. Some pine. Hazy deep golden body with a loose white head. Well-balanced, medium sweetness and bitterness. Very light-bodied, slight stickiness, but mostly watery texture. Medium carbonation and a short finish. Extremely quaffable session IPA.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
The pine is overpowering for my taste. Not at all what I expected.
Glad I opted for the 6 pack, rather than the 15 pack of cans.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle - Pours clear yellow-orange with very little head. It has a pleasant aroma that includes citrus and floral notes. The flavor is moderately bitter. A touch of citrus is joined by a mild pine character and easy going malts. It’s light bodied and bitterness lingers on the palate. It’s fairly good but I’ve not found any of the session IPAs as tasty as a good regular IPA.

malty, light well balanced session IPA, but not in perfect shape. I drank this in Italy, so I assume Founders doesn’t know how to keep their beer in good condition overseas.
