Ruikt naar een citroen. Smaakt heel zacht. Door Suus uitgezocht in Ierland. Niet zo veel aan.

One of the best session IPAs I’ve tried. A bit more body and malt would be nice, but I suppose that might defeat the purpose.

Meget lidt aroma. En smule tåget med store bobler. Let bitterhed som varer ved. Glimrende tørstslukker. Relativt lav i alkohol.

Tap at bjs at Easton. Light body and white mild head. Nose is weak hop and body is super smooth but light like water. Not good.

ASPETTO: ambrato chiaro, un po’ torbido. Schiuma bianca, fine, poco abbondante e pochissimo persistente. AROMA: erbaceo, floreale, note quasi da lambic. GUSTO: all’attacco è leggermente biscottata, ma poi vira subito in un amaro abbastanza deciso, che stimola l’appetito. Leggerissime note da lambic. Carbonizzazione medio/bassa, corpo leggero.

Can 33cl. Poured into a lager glass. Slightly hazy pale amber, small yet steady white frothy head, fair lacing; citrus aroma, grapefruit, lemon, pine; taste medium sweet bitter and sweet, malty, grapefruit, peach, piney, bit of chalk; fruity bitter palate leading to a dry bitersweet finish, touch of pepper and ginger; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; good session ipa.

355ml can. Slightly hazy orange colour with a small one-two finger frothy white head, slight retention but no lacing. Aroma is typically hoppy, piney, citrus, grass. Taste is the same, hops, pine, citrus, grapefruit, malt sweetness. Lingering mild bitterness but well balanced. Decent carbonation, good mouthfeel. Could definitely session this.

Appearance: clear pale gold with one finger of creamy off-white head, good retention and patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: resiny pine, pithy citrus, pale malt, light tropical fruit. (8/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (8/10) Medium-light body tending to watery, moderate carbonation, lingering moderately bitter finish. (3/5) Starts off promising with a decently hoppy presence at the outset. However, the light body definitely tends to the watery, and this becomes more and more pronounced as the pint progresses. Ultimately the bitterness comes across as being a little too sharp for the thin underlying body, even though it’s not all that bitter in absolute terms. Definitely does not improve as it warms, and is best drunk quickly, before that happens. (15/20)
