3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
A 12oz can from czar, thanks man! (I already had it on tap but never ticked it) Pours a clear golden with a weak head that fades fast and leaves close to no lacing. Aroma is nicely hopped with grapefruit impressions. Taste is moderately bitter with not much malt sweetness. Citrus flavors for the most part with no harshness ever. Body is really light but it never felt watery. Slightly oily texture and light carbonation. Nice one!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale golden pour with a thick white head. The aroma is lean and zesty - a bit of pine and orange zest with a bit of lingering earthy/minerally flavour. Lovely and lean with a great drinkability.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear classic golden color with an off white head. Citrus nose. Cottony, nearly astringent mouthfeel. Citrusy, nearly lemony cleaner flavor.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle, 0.355 l - BB 09/06/2014, from a supermarket, 20131013) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized, bubbly and white. Aroma had pine and grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pine, malts, grain, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A well done balanced hoppy brew with low ABV.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
5th June 2013
Hazy amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Mild minerals. Thin malt, almost not there. Hops are mellow orange with mild tropical fruits and a whisper of pine. Light minty finish. Does the job but as with most of the low abv IPAs - the malt is to thin.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Holy citrus and grapefruit aroma some melon smell too. 12 ounce bottle pours a nice clear medium copper color. Unfortunately that aroma carries over and it tastes a bit to grapefruity to me.
Very light bodied. Unique but not really to my liking.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Pours medium orange with a nice white head. Nice citrus and pine aroma. Crisp, hoppy taste, surprisingly full bodied. Finishes clean. Definitely one of the better sessions I have ever had, and this rating is more based on that than an IPA in general.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pale Orange Color, Medium Head, Did not Last Too Long, Decent Lacing. Nice Floral Pine Aroma. Bland , Semi Sour with Pine Hop Bitter Finish. Way over carbonated and watery, as if someone mixed seltzer water with IPA. Since it is watery, it lacks features that most IPAs share:slight sweetness, Fruity Grapefruit or Citrus, Medium Buttery Like Body with Malty Backbone. Don’t get me wrong, it is drinkable but hard to enjoy. If you want to quaff it as a session ale, you have to wait and let carbonation fizz away. Lasting bitter aftertaste but to my surprise, citrus sourness lasted even longer. Yet another Founders Brew that seems to be overrated. Worth a try, but I’ll reach for something else next time...
