3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Growler filled at Bellport Dave’s Beer & Soda and consumed the same day. Pours a clear gold with a moderate white head. Very pleasant aroma that is filled with grapefruit and a bit of orange and pine as well. The flavor begins with weak malt, almost watery, followed by some hops bitterness that is more pith than fruit. Moderate bitterness at the finish. Thin, watery body. A good idea, just not quite there.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. The fact that this much flavor can be packed into an IPA this small completely changes my perceptions of the style. The only brewery to do it better that I've tried is Tired Hands.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty decent light beer attempt, if you consider 4.7 light, and it is light for an ipa. Balanced, but just very fresh tasting and smelling. Tropical notes and pine in the nose. Citrus palate, a little low on malt, but still I enjoyed it and a great session beer it would be.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Very light colored. Very thin and watery. A little light on the malt for my taste. Easy drinking which I suppose was the intention.

On tap at the Bottle Shop. Orange with a white head. The aroma is full of apricot, mangoes and pine. The flavor is similar with a lot of pine and some pineapple and biscuit malt. Low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I'm not impressed. I bought a 6 pack because I heard good things about this brew. Color is light copper, poured a two finger thick head. Aroma is slight citrus and pine, mainly grapefruit and orange. Taste is comparable to an amber lager or ale as malt is balanced with hops. The bitterness isn't there for me as I like it hoppier. Mouthfeel is watery, slightly malt and slightly bitter.
