4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very good IPA. Not unusual, not overly unique, just a great straight up beer that could be used as a standard to show folks what an IPA is supposed to be.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice grapefruit aroma. Poured a nice thick white head. Taste was piney hops though could use some balance from malts. Good carbonation level. Overall good beer that is everything that it claims to be.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured up a amber brew with small head that died out very fast. Aroma was mostly like grapefruit juice. Taste pretty much the same with a very twangy bitter ending that just did not do it for me. Not worth the price I paid and will not be buying again.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 30, 2014 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours vibrant orange with a small white head leaving spotty lacing and some very small head retention. Nose is very appealing. A load of tropical fruits, grapefruit and piney hoppage. It’s all about the hops here! Loads of grapefruit and grassy/pine driven hops in this. Touch of lime juice and mango undertones. Killer session stuff. Frickin hell this is good. Sweet stuff but so unbelievably sessionable. A new staple favourite

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle poured into shaker. Golden hue and half finger head. Grapefruit aroma and taste. Reminiscent of Gumbalhead. Adequate lacing. Very smooth and sessionable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours hazy golden/copper with a small lacy head. Aroma is grass, bread, floral and some cheese (?!). Medium bitter, light sweet. This is one sessionable bastard! Not too much in-your-face, just enough bitterness and flavour. Medium body with medium carbonation. Wish I had more.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 8/20
Lighter body for low ABV but offset by hop aroma and taste, which makes this beer worthwhile. Easy drinking with some actual flavor if you like hops, but not overpowering like some IPAs.

3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light bodied, tastes mostly pine with a little bit of grain and citrus flavors. I normally like bigger, stronger beers, but this is pretty good for what it is. Good beer to drink by a campfire or sitting by a lake fishing or something.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hazy bronze with golden highlights. Thick eggshell halo of foam encircles a broken center. Pinesap, peach skin, mango, lemon peel, grapefruit, aspirin and spent tealeaves comprise the uninteresting aromas of raw hops. Hint of doughy yeast and sulfur. Loose, crumbly, fuzzy carbonation. Flimsy body. Opens up with a semi-bright and flavorsome hop medley of ripe peach and orange pith. Bitterness rapidly takes foothold, enveloping the palate with grippy, lightly spicy resins. Brutish high-alpha oils hamper the body as they collide with a pedestrian instant iced tea Crystal character. Hop acids become fatiguingly sour and caustic after a couple swigs. Very limp, poorly defined maltiness reveals the scarcest edge of crisp dryness reminiscent of dried grass. Doughy yeast muddles the already overcrowded body with a tongue-clinging tackiness. Delicate cookie sweetness lines the unrefined finish which showcases more green hops and resins. A stark yet very busy rendition. The hop character couldn’t be more run-of-the-mill (resin and grapefruit anyone?), and the malt comes off as aimless and uninspired. Sure this style should be all about showcasing the hops in all their unobstructed glory, but that doesn’t mean the malt should be neglected as is seemingly the case here (Crystal malt doesn’t have to suck, but they have coaxed nothing interesting or unusual from it). Not exactly clean, either. This is essentially another dime-a-dozen, kitchen-sink-stye IPA, only with less alcohol. Off-putting.
