3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A hazy, slightly orange beer, with an almost medium and blond head. The nose is strongly tropical fruity, mangos, fructose and hint of pine forest. Taste is strongly bitter, and that’s great, mangos, some citrusfruits, also pine needles that are there together with bitterness into the long end. Light+ bodied, that is a sligtly disappointment. Nice, and strongly hopped light-IPA with some tropical fruitness.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. Pours clear goldenbronze in color with a small whitish head. Grapefruit, grassy bitter and malty notes along with some floral notes in aroma. A bit of tropical fruity vibe as well, some ripe mango and peaches perhaps. Citrus, more bitter grapefruit and softer overripe exotic fruits in taste. Leaves one with a nice mix between bitter and ripe exotic fruity juicyness in aftertaste.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
A truly incredible offering from Founder’s. Pours a rich deep golden hue. The aroma is a complex blend of citrus and earthy notes. Mouthful is full yet crisp. The flavor of this beer is well balanced while having that full hop taste that is hard to get in a brew with so low an original gravity. This is my go to beer for game days.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, bottled on 9/23/2013. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, orange zest, orange rind, lemon zest, floral, grass, light pine, light bread, light honey, and floral earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great complexity of citrus/tropical hops with a fair amount of malt balance; and good strength. Taste of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, orange zest, lemon zest, floral, grass, light pine, light honey, light bread, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pineapple, mango, floral, grass, light honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity of citrus/tropical hop flavors with a fair amount of malt balance; with good flavor robustness and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a highly excellent session IPA! All around great complexity and robustness of citrus/tropical hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.
