4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2016 From Club del Gourmet of El Corte Ingles El Duque. In Westvleteren XII small chalice. Shared with agu. Snack at home. After all high ABV beers Ive taken today (Aventinus Eisbock, Chimay Blue Limited Edition 2014, etc.) and the fact that its BB date is on Oct 16, hops are still noticeable and taste and body are pretty good for such a low ABV brew

12 oz can: Blonde color. Fresh hop pellet aroma and a crisp, refreshing apricot-grapefruit flavor profile. Really not much else to say, a nice, drinkable IPA.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can. Hazy goldenish orange, off-white head leaving some lacings. Aroma is clear citrus and floral notes, hoppy, juciy. Taste is surprisingly steady despite its low abv, solid fresh hoppy bitterness, lychee, citrus, slight sweetness from the malt, finishes bitter with dryness and slight wattery. Light body, medium carbo. Fresh and drinkable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml can from M&S. Amber colour with minimal head, which does not retain well at all. The aroma is sweet caramel and piny hops, some cookie dough. The taste is heavy sweet medium bitter. A surprising amount of sweetness based on the relatively low ABV of 4.7% and the level of hopping. I’m not an expert but would suspect that sugars have been added post fermentation.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz can, canned on 12/31/15. Pours hazy golden orange with a medium fluffy white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is fruity bready malt with piney hops.
The flavor is bready malts with tangy fruit and piney resiny hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a very nice session IPA - one of my favorites with Stone’s Go To IPA.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
An amber light-bodied ale, with a hoppy citrus aroma and flavour, and spicy pine notes, but lacking some malt. Dry taste, with moderate bitternes. All in all a good and drinkable IPA for a sunny day.
