2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
bottle. clear orange with a small white head. somewhat dead appearance in the glass. mandarin orange syrup nose. light body with a dry finish. the flavor is peachy with orange tones but overall it’s a light version, like an ipa small beer. leaves a dry citrus(white grapefruit or lemon) note in the aftertaste. it defines ’session’ ale, and yes, one could easily drink it all day, but would i want too?.. probably not.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very nice brew, pouring a clear deep yellow body with a decent head and lots of lace. The aroma is full of hops - pine resin, bitter grasses, and zest. The malt tasts grainy, clean, and supportive of the hop flavors and moderate business. the finish is dry and lightly bitter. I really like this beer. That said, it’s about as much of an IPA as Three Floyds’ Alpha King is an APA.

Great flavor and hop character. This beer is very good. I wish I had access to this beer, this would be a great beer to have often. Very drinkable. I think it is a very impressive beer considering it’s abv. Amazing.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Great citrus aroma and hop taste. All of the pleasure without the guilt of the high alcohol associated with many craft beers. I am adding it to my exclusive short list of favorites.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma is incredibly hoppy. Taste is grassy and lots of hop resin. Very dry finish. This is an all day session IPA. Well done Founders.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Loved the lower ABV here as I literally could drink this all day, every day! Bright 14 karat pour with a small ivory head that left some sticky lacing. Aroma was filled with grapefruit pith, orange peel, lemon zest, and freshly cut grass. Flavor is a bit more watered down and bitter without the accompanying malt backbone. Thin in the palate...wish there was a little chewiness. Still delicious and can’t discount that this is highly drinkable and sessionable. Want more.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle and served in Ommegang tulip: Pours a golden hue with a fading head and spotty lace. The aroma notes of grassy and dank hops, simple bready malts and a bit of spicy esters. For a "session" ale, this delivers a ton of aroma, more than many IPA’s twice it strength. The taste is quite honestly more APAish than IPA but considering it is made to be session-able, the All Day more than meets expectations. Piney, peppery, and slightly dank with a clean malt profile. Yeah I could drink this all day long. The mouth feel is a tad tepid but really what the hell to you expect? I only hop to be able to buy sixers of this come summer time, it would be most excellent after a hard day of sweaty work.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ Aarons place, Thanks. Pours golden with a wite head. Aroma of light malt, grapefruit, resin, piney. Taste is malt, biscuit, grapefruit, piney, citrus, resin. Thin to medium, soft carbonation. Wellbalaced, actually more balanced than most IPAs, but also a bit to much on the mellow side. 020312

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle to a New Belgium Globe
Aroma: Pine, citrus, the usual hop characters you would expect. A very minimal hint of toast character.
Appearance: Amber, slighlty cloudy, minimal head, and no lacing.
Taste: Medium bitterness, not overpowering at all. I
Palate: A light body, slightly oily, yet thin. Average carbonation, with a quick dry finish.
O: For what Founders was probably aiming for with this; they nailed it. It’s an enjoyable, flavorful IPA, that doesn’t overpower you. I liked it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle from Armanetti’s. Pours a clear, yellow-gold colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is citrusy with strong grapefruit pines, lemons, florals, and some grass. Pale malt backing with a touch of grainy bread. Flavor is similar. Lemon-grass, grapefruit pines, and some floral fruits and citruses with a light, pale malt backing. A light grainy bread to the malts before the hops dry this out with a moderate, piney and grassy, citrusy and floral bitterness. Lengthy aftertaste following a light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a very easy drinking and sessionable beer. Nice hop complexity with a lot going on for such a low ABV%. Good one.
