4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A nice amber colour with a light tan Fluffy head. A sensible but not low abv that leaves the flavour full without feeling stretched and strange as some low abv beers are. A really good everyday beer that would be a favourite if distribution was better. A really good beer from Founders. Again.

Draught @ CBC2013. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity with crackers, pink grapefruit juice, mixed tropical fruits, white bread, lemon zest, orange zest, grass, pine needles and hints of resin. Taste is bitter and fruity with crackers, white bread, starfruit, passionfruit, gooseberries, grass, pine needles, pink grapefruit juice, orange zest and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry and light bodied. Finish is bitter and slightly fruity with crackers, unripe tropical fruits, citrus zest, pine needles, gooseberries, grass and hints of resin.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Excellent session IPA - plenty of citrus and tropical fruit notes in both the nose and the tasting, a strong balancing bitterness with thick piney finish. A hint of clove spice in there, maybe some lychee, all the good stuff. Drinkable and moreish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Is there room on the sessionable IPA bandwagon for one more? This beer makes me ask whether I prefer drinking this to a standard ABV IPA. I am not sure of the answer, but I am beginning to lean towards the affirmative. Pours light orange with white head. Smell is fruity. Refreshing level of carbonation. Bitter, but not too bitter, finish. I wish they would make this a year round beer so I could enjoy it fresh throughout the college football tailgate season. Draft - Brick Store Pub - Decatur, GA

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted on tap at The Bridge into a sampler glass. It poured a hazy golden colour with white foam, short-lived, no lace. Very neutral grainbill, crisp and light mouthfeel. CRAZY hoppy, but in a good way, more in the flavour and aroma than bitterness, thankfully. LOTS of fruity, citrusy especially grapefruit, black currants, pine resin, earthy. Some slight vegetal and harsh notes, but not too bad. Lingering hoppy aftertaste. Good stuff, lots going on but nonethess a refreshing session-strength summer IPA.

Salty. If you’d used this for your slug trap, Thomas, they’d have been in double trouble.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 10, 2013 Bottle from Beer Hive, Edinburgh
Amber orange, slight haze, frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma - citrus dry zesty hops, dry lemon, soft pine, dab of grass, quite a fresh aroma
Taste - Quite bitter dry lemon zest, soft light pale sweet fruity malts, touch of pine, some nettles, soft pine, really crisp hops in here, very drinkable, quite moreish
Palate - Medium carb, light to medium body, very refershing palate, crisp. Finish is rather dry, bitter dry zest, very clean finish
Overall - It does what it says on the (tin) bottle very well, good hop and malt balance for a refreshing palate. It could seem a little watery but it’s made for session drinking. It took very little time to drink the bottle. Good stuff.

355ml bottle from Brewdog online shop. Orange amber colour, frothy white foam head and fruity hoppy aroma with grapefruit & orange citrus. Taste is malt caramel with tropical fruits, grapefruit citrus and tangy pine hop bitterness. Light bodied, very slightly oily mouthfeel, well carbonated, dry lingering bitter finish. Quite well balanced and drinkable session IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clean and satisfying. Faint aroma of citrus , specifically grapefruit. The color was a light clear copper with a small head. The palate was light and almost watery, which made it easy to drink. Carbonation average. The malt background was medium to light and matched the hops, which were more grapefruit than bitter. Not much else seemed present. Pleasant.

Just like it says on the bottle, this beer is very session-able. Aroma of hops. A clean and crisp flavor with a mild sweetness and a soft bite at the finish.
