Poured from a fresh bottle. Pours a textbook pale yellow. Smells of grapfruit, malt and hops hops hops! Mouthfeel is light, perfect for warm days. Taste is absolutely wonderful, one of the best IPA’s available. See this sixer? Buy and enjoy!!

12 oz can: Blonde color. Fresh hop pellet aroma and a crisp, refreshing apricot-grapefruit flavor profile. Really not much else to say, a nice, drinkable IPA.

Mas Plenum stand at Vinocom Zagreb, 2014. Yellow to orange to amber color, off-white head. Mango fruit salad, strong aroma. Sweet and grassy flavors. Light, drinkable with nice finish. Excellent.

Fresh on tap @ Ulla Terkelsen London. Aroma of fresh citrus fruits, pineapple, flowers, a little grassy, little breadiness. Pours clear golden yellow, frothy thin white head. Taste is medium bitter and lightly sweet. Medium light body, pretty slick, average+ carbonation, finishes fruity and bitter. Good session IPA when fresh on tap.

Can. Hazy goldenish orange, off-white head leaving some lacings. Aroma is clear citrus and floral notes, hoppy, juciy. Taste is surprisingly steady despite its low abv, solid fresh hoppy bitterness, lychee, citrus, slight sweetness from the malt, finishes bitter with dryness and slight wattery. Light body, medium carbo. Fresh and drinkable.

355ml can from M&S. Amber colour with minimal head, which does not retain well at all. The aroma is sweet caramel and piny hops, some cookie dough. The taste is heavy sweet medium bitter. A surprising amount of sweetness based on the relatively low ABV of 4.7% and the level of hopping. I’m not an expert but would suspect that sugars have been added post fermentation.

12 oz can, canned on 12/31/15. Pours hazy golden orange with a medium fluffy white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is fruity bready malt with piney hops.

The flavor is bready malts with tangy fruit and piney resiny hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a very nice session IPA - one of my favorites with Stone’s Go To IPA.

Echon (261) - Århus, DENMARK - APR 11, 2016
An amber light-bodied ale, with a hoppy citrus aroma and flavour, and spicy pine notes, but lacking some malt. Dry taste, with moderate bitternes. All in all a good and drinkable IPA for a sunny day.

Fresh smell. Slightly hazy yellow. Quite bubbly. Lots of hops as expected, but the aroma is still shallow. Something for an all day drinker - yes, perhaps. When you want something special you go somewhere else. I have the deepest respect for Founders. This is a disappointment.
