3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle to a New Belgium Globe
Aroma: Pine, citrus, the usual hop characters you would expect. A very minimal hint of toast character.
Appearance: Amber, slighlty cloudy, minimal head, and no lacing.
Taste: Medium bitterness, not overpowering at all. I
Palate: A light body, slightly oily, yet thin. Average carbonation, with a quick dry finish.
O: For what Founders was probably aiming for with this; they nailed it. It’s an enjoyable, flavorful IPA, that doesn’t overpower you. I liked it.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clinical beery smell. Looks like iron brew. Flat and sharply fizzy at the same time. Like the label this is about as interesting as strapping a low rent boat to the roof of an 80s estate and driving past an artificial forest at 5mph.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellowish amber, medium foam. Hoppy nose, grassy. Crisp mouthfeel, almost dominating the hops and the malt.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle into tulip. Minneapolis. Bottle is 60 days old.
Pours hazy orange-light copper. Mostly transparent. Small white head. Nice lacing on the glass.
Aroma is hop forward. Floral hops dominate for me. Some citrus notes too - lemon and orange. Very very subtle metallic/pine notes.
Taste is mildly sweet with a lightly bitter finish. Neither are strong or excessive.
Body is light-medium. Average carbonation. Very smooth texture decently long finish. Very clean.
Keeping in mind that this is a session beer, its actually pretty solid. As advertised, I really could drink this all day. Still delivers decent hop aroma and flavor without being too heavy.

pours a rich semi murky gold with a medium white head. Aroma is floral and light citrus. Taste is bright and citrusy. Some mild hop bitterness creeps in. A fairly quick finish with some light bitter linger. Refreshing and delicious. I could see pounding quite a few of these :-) Good beer!

Orange mot lys brunt med lavt skum. Fruktig duft med grapefrukt, honningmelon og noe granbar. Smaker sitrus med en tørr bitterhet mot slutten. Litt vannaktig munnfølelse.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear medium orange beer, small white head with soapy retention. Nose is citric hops, malt, caramel notes, grassy notes. Hoppy flavor, fruity notes, grass, caramel, malt. Hoppy and mildly bitter finish. On the thin side, but that’s not a deal breaker. High drinkability, very sessionable.

Bottle. My first from this brewery for a long time. Bronze and pored with a small head.Hoppy with some floral tones. Bitterness creeps in and then takes over.Does what it says on the bottle-a good session ale.
