Nice aroma of caramel and grapefruity, citrusy hops. Flavor is absolutely delicious and the beer is really easy to drink. Delicious.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Nice balanced malt base with plenty of hops. Dry and bitter finish. Nothing exciting, but a decent solid session beer.

Draught at BJ’s in Dublin Ohio, US. Dark golden with a white head. Heap of fresh hops in the aroma, pine and grapefruit. A bit thin/watery in the mouth but with plenty of hop flavours. Short finish.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2016 I love session beer that taste good. This is not my favorite session beer but it’s very good. Very smooth aftertaste that makes you want another sip.

The gold standard. Best session and readily available. I have done blind tastings with a ton of other sessions and this one always ends up on the top. Perfectly balanced perfect flavor.

It’s light enough to drink all day/night, but it packs enough flavor to keep the hopheads satisfied. This may not find its way into my fridge often, but it’ll definitely find its way into my cooler at a BBQ.

Light bodied, tastes mostly pine with a little bit of grain and citrus flavors. I normally like bigger, stronger beers, but this is pretty good for what it is. Good beer to drink by a campfire or sitting by a lake fishing or something.

Growler from Founders, poured into a pint glass. Clear gold color with lively carbonation climbing up the glass, and a frothy white head. Aroma is weeds, grass, and piney hops, with some slightly sweet biscuity malt. Taste is minorly sweet and moderately bitter. Crisp clean mouthfeel, quite light. To me, this is more of a highly dry-hopped Pale Ale, like Founders’ own Pale Ale. Quenching and tasty though.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle after bottle after bottle. Clear golden-orange. Powerful hop aroma of pine, citrus, peach. Flavor is lighter than aroma suggests, with cereal upfront, followed by bitter citrus and a spicy finish. Delicious, and one of the best session IPAs I have had.

Tap at CBB Bud, Founders launch in Kansai. Clear gold with nice lacing. A modest aroma, fragrant fruity hops and somewhat grassy. Similar flavour with mild fruit hoppiness, a touch watery for a moment on the backend before a pine note pushes through and lingers with fruit. Good grainy malt presence, well-bodied for a session, not too bitter, good beer overall.
