Chilled 12 ounce bottle. It poured a nice golden body with a white head that had some retention and mild lacing. Aroma had a mild malt presence to it. Some light sweetness to it. Not quite a caramel sweetness, but more of a general sweetness. Hops were a different story. A nice blend of citrus hops and pine hops. There was a pleasant soap quality to it. Citrus hops seemed to dominate the aroma, but it was nowhere near over powering. Flavor had a little more sweetness from the malts but the hops seemed to have good balance as well. The citrus hops once again being the main focus. Mildly dry finish and it certainly would make a great session beer.

Bottle: Golden pour with a thick white frothy head. aroma is huge fruity grapefruit, apple and pine. flavour is bright fruity and pine hop with a light almost biscuity pale malty background. Lacks a bit in body IMO. Still very drinkable.

Tap at Maple Tree Inn, Blue Island, IL: Labeled "All Day IPA". Nose is pretty invitingly hoppy...citrusy and pine resin. The hop flavors are probably too mild and restrained to really be called an IPA, but still an exceptionally easy drinking and refreshing hopped up summer lawnmower brew.

Grapefruit, citrus and a little pine on the nose, follows onto the palate. Nice and light for an IPA. Great for summer.

12oz can from a 15-pack (camping beer!). The deScription says that this is the beer I have been waiting for and it is correct. I hardly think I am alone in wishing for a flavorful IPA with half the alcohol of their full-powered cousins. Summer is about having adventures and not about being passed out in the hammock from one-too-many beers. This one is a bright and clear orange color with a thin white head. Aroma is juicy and bitter hops. The flavors are clean, refreshing, bitter, and plentiful. This is a uncompromised beer. I wonder how low the alcohol can go before I start to feel cheated?

On tap and pretty fresh at the Mexican Food Factory. Aroma of underripe grapefruit, citrus peel, and a hint of Christmas pine. Pours clear amber with a nice creamy head. Taste is wonderfully hoppy with a good complexity of grapefruit citrus and slight resin. Mouthfeel is very light so it is easy to take down a pint of this in no time. Truly a masterful IPA. Went through two more pints after trying.
