Can @ The Garage: clear gold color wth a fluffy head and sticky lacing. My favorite kind of IPA with aromas of pine needles, grapefruit, and juniper. Hoppy dry flavors with a crisp aftertaste. Solid!

12 ounce bottle, bottled on 12/26/2011. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear golden/orange color with a half inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent. Aroma is mostly hoppy, the brew smells like citrusy (tropical fruit, orange peel, mango) and pine hops, along with a little bit of bready malt. The taste is similar to the aroma, but for whatever reason it just doesn’t taste quite as good as the aroma would lead me to believe. The flavors seem a bit watered down. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit slick, is well carbonated and goes down easy enough. However, at $10.99 a 6-pack I wouldn’t buy it again since I can get better IPA’s at that same price or cheaper (for example, Columbus IPA or Brew Kettle White Rajah). With that being said, I do think it’s worth trying.

Grassy, floral, fruity hop aroma and taste is much the same with light malty sweetness. Smooth bitter finish. Well balanced.

BOTTLE 355 ML from Bov. No bottling date printed. Sweet tropical fruit in the nose, very little malts (a touch of honey maybe?), no pine or dank to balance the fruity sweetness. The taste is similar - tropical sweetness, clean moderate zesty bitter finish, and... a watery body in between. Good, but at 4,7%, even though „session”, I would expect at least some body from an IPA.

Clear and golden with hoppy aroma. East drinking but holds a decent hop bite. True to what it us supposed to be: a good IPA that won't floor you if you're downing them all day long. Nicely done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

jcos (1779) - Maryland, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Location/Date:Bottle on 3/9/2013.

Appearance: Pours a light orange.
Aroma: Aroma of light pine hop.
Taste: Light hop flavor of pine, nothing too strong.
Palate:Light body.

Summary: It’s hard for me to give a good total score for this beer. It sets out to do what it wants to do, a lighter abv IPA, but then is grouped together in the regular IPA category. Good beer for what it’s meant to be.

12 oz. bottle from SoHo Organic Market in Elizabeth City, NC. Pours the expected rusty orange with a bright white head. Aroma of grassy and Earthy hops mostly with just a hint of caramel sweetness. There is enough hop bitterness that I would say this is an IPA rather than just a pale ale although the flavor is plenty balanced. There is no wow factor with this beer other than the fact that this is a very flavorful 4.7% ABV beer. That alone makes this one a keeper in my opinion.
