3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Bishops Folkis.
Slight hazy golden with a short porous white head.
Floral citrus aroma with grapefruit, peach, pine and zest.
Taste is fairly dry and floral with grapefruit, peach, some wheat (?) and white bread, piney zesty bitterness.
Medium bodied, tickling carbonation, soft dry texture.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a slightly hazy medium gold with a one finger white head. Head retention is on the weak side but some decent lacing on the sides of the glass.
The aroma is very citrusy with a healthy dose of grass thrown in as well. Pineapp/mango tropical citrus is what really jumps out. Not much in the way of malt at all; maybe a little bit of caramel.
Taste is extremely hop forward as well. The same tropical citrus that was present in the aroma is there but it falls off rather quickly leaving a moderate to high bitterness. Really no malt at all which is a shame along with a very watery mouthfeel.
Overall, I like the attempt by Founders to make a session IPA but I feel the style just doesn’t work all that well. The hops really overpower everything plus the price is just too high to really session.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden copper pour with a thin off white fizzy head. Aroma of malt and citrus/earthy hops with some faint bread and yeast in the background. Medium mouthfeel with a hoppy finish that isn’t too overpowering. A HR for what Founders was attempting to do. All day indeed!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle. Pours a golden color with frothy white head and average carbonation. Citrusy hop aroma. Sharp, bitter citrus / grapefruit flavor, light bodied with a clean crisp, bitter finish. A good option for a sessionable IPA.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home. Nicely cloudy, orange colour with a foamy white head. Nicely citrus and tropical fruity, grassy and floral nose with sweet malts in the distance. Taste is crisp and clean, nicely malted and fruity, lightly bitter. Light bodied, low-medium carbonation.

Litt tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter grape og litt sitrus, humle. Medium fylde og medium kullsyre. Søtlig bitter avslutning. God.

355ml can into glass. Aroma is like a big cartoon hand coming out of the can and smacking you in the face! In the glass only slightly less amazing. Floral, citrus, it smells like a grapefruit convention. Slightly hazy amber beer with thin head. Thin white head. Chalky medium body mouthfeel. Finish is lingering. Starts slightly bitter with a touch of malt then the grapefruit is back.
It’s really excellent but not my taste for a session.

Big ups to my man slovak for hooking me up with this as an extra in a trade. Pours nice and golden with a chunk of frothy head. Nice aroma, bits of grapefruit and citrus goodness. Well balanced, smooth up front, with a bit of sweetness and then a nice hoppy finish. well done.
