has a mild hoppy aroma a touch of citrus, is pale gold with no head, just tastes like a very mild flavoured IPA, calm and inoffensive

From tap @ BBF 2014. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Moderate hoppy aroma, tropical fruits, mango. Flavor is moderate bitter with a long duration, tropical fruits, citrus, a bit weak.

Light, crisp, with tropical / citrus hop flavors. Has a bit more cereal flavor than I would like for such a light beer, but otherwise quite good.

My first Session IPA. I fell in love with this ale right away. I never would have imagined that a beer could have the taste of a West Coast IPA with the alcohol content of a lager. Hopheads don’t lose out on anything with this brew. It offers all the color, bitterness, and aroma of a more traditional IPA. This ale smells of grapefruit and there’s a hint of grassy hops. As you’d expect, citrusy hops steal the show with lemon, orange, and of course, grapefruit. Yet, the sweet, biscuit-like malts keep the bitterness at a tolerable level. Mouthfeel is crisp and smooth. All Day IPA made my day without impairing my judgment.

Bottle. Golden medium tan head. Nice aroma of citrus, floral, berry fruits, grass. Mild sweet taste, doesn’t quite match the aroma. Medium body, texture a little too thin, mild bitter finish, lacks some crispness. Overall a solid IPA and sessionable.

Stunned to find I’ve not rated this. Bottle. Nose is mango sorbet, slight lime, a little malt and grain leading to orange and tangerine; complex and appealing. Taste is resin, grapefruit, lychee and a short slightly thin finish. Mouthfeel a touch thin. The nose is incredible, the taste is good and suited to an everyday refresher, but is a little ordinary as a result.

Golden clear with white head. Aroma is grassy and citrus hop. Starts up grassy hop, then sweetness, lemon orange bitter and a grassy finish and lingering orange bitter. Slightly more carbonation than others.

Appearance is clear gold with white 1 finger head. Aroma is light caramel malt with citrusy grapfruit hops. Taste has hints of lemon rind, grapefruit rind, and even a hint of orange peel against a honey malt background, although a little bit watery. Not knowing that this beer was under 5% alcohol until I had finished it, it could have passed for a weak 7%er. Body is medium-light, oily, and with average carbonation. Overall, a perfect IPA for sipping all day! The abv is low enough to have several, yet it has all the hop aroma and flavor you would expect from a much larger brew.

brigg (529) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 21, 2013
(bottle) Pale, clear body with a small white head. Strong grapefruit aroma; grass, moderate caramel and spice. Light bodied, some carbonation. Very dry; grapefruit, herbal, strong acidity.
