Pours clear amber with large white head on tap. Floral aroma with hint of citrus and cascade hops. Light hop flavor with smooth and light finish. Good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Let me start this with the easiest way to describe this beer...grapefruit. Lots of it. Aroma, taste, color (maybe). Tap poured at 3 Squares happy hour. Not much along the lines of lacing but a golden hued appealing visual. Very crisp leaning away from the traditional hop vibe associated with a sessionable IPA. I can see why a person would order this beer but not really recommended from my perspective. Much better IPA options out there.

Poured into a tulip. Sort of a nice light orange amber with a white foam. Dissipates very quickly to a small ring with a little lacing. The smell is a wonderful hoppy citrus with a bit of spruce. Taste is light, clean and fresh citrusy hops with a mildly bitter finish. Light mouthfeel with good carbonation. Overall great session IPA. I could easily see myself going through quite a few of these.

Aromatic without being overwhelming and tasty without distracting from the food you might be enjoying alongside. This is an excellent session beer. I think this IPA really nails what Founders set out to do. Itís one of the few IPAs that isnít a monster - itís good without saturating your palate. Thereís nothing to get fatigued by in the aroma or the flavor profile. Itís a good, solid IPA.

I wouldnít have known this was an IPA if the label didnít say so. That being said, this is a great adaptation of an IPA that can be enjoyed íall dayí. Slight bitterness, citrus and pine flavours. A zesty aroma. Medium carbonation. An excellent choice.

Bottle from Beergium.com. Amber, slightly hazy body, with a medium, frothy, slightly beige head. Aroma of citrus, red berries, tangerine, pine, grass, biscuit. Taste with about the same aromas, light, refreshing and crisp. Mouthfeel is medium to light, oily, with a moderate carbonation and it finishes medium bitter, slightly dry, with lemon zest, pine and grass. Nice one, sessionable, refreshing and with nice, crisp hop aromas, that arentít that intense though.

Good to see this in cans, I poured this out into a 12 oz glass. Looks more IPA than APA, bright orange with a bit tan head. Citrus and crisp malt aromas. The flavor hits with a huge lime juice sensation. Feels a little thin, a hard-to avoid consequence of the lower abv. Finishes dry with lingering pine and citrus bitterness. Good to see a tasty craft beer brought down beneath the 5% abv level, all considered this is my favorite of Foundersí hoppy beers.

Bottle: Pours medium orange with a nice white head. Nice citrus and pine aroma. Crisp, hoppy taste, surprisingly full bodied. Finishes clean. Definitely one of the better sessions I have ever had, and this rating is more based on that than an IPA in general.
