Bottle. Looks ok, Light color, a little watery as well. Very strong aroma of hops, citurs, mango, grapefruit, and definitely pine as well. Very pleasing. The taste does not live up to this. The taste has some of all of these flavors with an average hoppy bite, but overall tastes kind of watery. Altogether it is very good, but I would probably enjoy it more outside in 100 degree weather I believe.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber pour with a thing head. Looks fairly heavily carbonated. Grapefruit, slightly floral aroma. Nice bitterness - not too heavy, very easy to drink more of this stuff. Citrus, slight pine, and a little sweet - good stuff,.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz can into a glass. Pours a medium pale yellow/orange sunshine, looks gorgeous. Head is small, thin and leaves light lacing. Aroma is superb with frontal hops, grapefruit as the primary citrus, honey, lemon, and light cider. Taste is dry, hoppy, melon, herbs, orange, and light mango. Such fine example of s light IPA, refreshing. Quaffable, and light on the pallate while remaining quite enjoyable. An IPA in loads like this will do. Can def tastevthe low key of the gravity but not like it really matters, this is grand.

Let me start this with the easiest way to describe this beer...grapefruit. Lots of it. Aroma, taste, color (maybe). Tap poured at 3 Squares happy hour. Not much along the lines of lacing but a golden hued appealing visual. Very crisp leaning away from the traditional hop vibe associated with a sessionable IPA. I can see why a person would order this beer but not really recommended from my perspective. Much better IPA options out there.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2014 Appearance: pours with a large head that is off white in color, beer has a haze to it, it’s an average gold color, head dissipates quickly
Aroma: citrus, pine, grass, floral, smells like a good hoppy beer without much malt aroma
Taste: has a nice hop character to it of pine and grass bitterness, citrus, strong bitter finish
Palate: lively carbonation, light mouthfeel, dry, bitter aftertaste
Overall: awesome beer, one of my most purchased beers, good hop flavors, malt gets out of the way, low malt presence,

Well this finally showed up in the Northeast, CT to be exact. No bottle date on the neck? Ok...either way it just popped up so its fresh as hell.
A - Pours a rather clear golden amber body. A fingers worth of white foam fades away quickly, decent lacing.
S - Woah, tropical fruit bomb. Papaya, mango, peach...the whole gang is here. A bit of biscuity malt and pine/dankness to balance it all out.
T - Tropical fruits lead into light biscuity malts. Man, this is tasty as all hell!! Just loads of peaches.
M - Light to medium bodied, lighlty creamy with ample carbonation. I could drink this all day so mission accomplished.
O - This is an awesome beer and I love the lower abv. Do not love the price though. $11 for a six pack at a reasonable store? Oy....this is a touch pill to swallow.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottled May 5, 2012. Served at around 40F.
Pours lightly hazy yellow/gold with a one finger white head that recedes quickly to a small ring and wispy cap and leaves just a few spots of lacing behind.
Aroma is lemon and grapefruit citrus, floral, grassy hops, a touch of pineapple. some cracker-like malt. Good strength.
Flavor features lemony citrus, some grapefruit, floral and grassy, a little fruity, a bit of light malt, good bitterness on the finish. Minimal alcohol, finishes dry and crisp.
Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied, a little oily and sticky, moderate carbonation.
Big thanks to one of my customers for bringing this by since we don’t get this one in Georgia. Does exactly what Founders set out to do...a nice sessionable IPA. Nothing crazy or extreme, just delivers a hop fix without too heavy of a body or too much alcohol. Great lawnmower beer with serious flavor.
