3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2014 Amber pour with a decent white head and lace. Lots of pine, grapefruit, lemon, mango, cat pee. All of the above on the palate with good carbonation. This stuff is gorgeous.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Beergium.com. Amber, slightly hazy body, with a medium, frothy, slightly beige head. Aroma of citrus, red berries, tangerine, pine, grass, biscuit. Taste with about the same aromas, light, refreshing and crisp. Mouthfeel is medium to light, oily, with a moderate carbonation and it finishes medium bitter, slightly dry, with lemon zest, pine and grass. Nice one, sessionable, refreshing and with nice, crisp hop aromas, that arent’t that intense though.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
355ml bottle, hazy light amber colour, amll fizzy mostly vanishing white head, lacing. heavily hoppy aroma of resin, citrus and passion fruit, some malt to back it up and a hint of raisins and caramel detectable. Taste is initially moderately bitter and acidic with a hint of sweetness, turning into a long bitter finish with an astringent feel. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Quite a pleasant hoppy aroma and taste, palate was a bit thin overall as was to be expected, still one of the tastiest things I picked up in a Finnish supermarket.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy straw color. Very thin white head that did not leave any lacing. Aroma is great...hoppy. Mouthfeel is thin, watery. Not a ton of malt backbone but I didn’t expect it. Hoppy flavors and slight bitterness. Will be a great all day drinker at the lake in the summer.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Had it on tap at Moody’s Pub in Chicago. Pours a clear amber copper hue with a medium head. The aroma is a floral hop delight and the taste is solidly delicious bitter hop IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler from Founders, poured into a pint glass. Clear gold color with lively carbonation climbing up the glass, and a frothy white head. Aroma is weeds, grass, and piney hops, with some slightly sweet biscuity malt. Taste is minorly sweet and moderately bitter. Crisp clean mouthfeel, quite light. To me, this is more of a highly dry-hopped Pale Ale, like Founders’ own Pale Ale. Quenching and tasty though.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Fermentoren. Pours a nice, clear, light amber with a small, white head. Aroma has pleasent hop bitterness and a bit of exotic fruits. A little bit of stable/horse in a non-funky, but more grainy way. A bit of herbs and weed too. Taste is pretty bitter up front, followed by a small, watery malt sweetness. A weak hop-fruityness here, but not much. I don’t know how fresh this is, but it seems a little weak in the hops, and pretty watery in the body. Medium carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle after bottle after bottle. Clear golden-orange. Powerful hop aroma of pine, citrus, peach. Flavor is lighter than aroma suggests, with cereal upfront, followed by bitter citrus and a spicy finish. Delicious, and one of the best session IPAs I have had.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Stunned to find I’ve not rated this. Bottle. Nose is mango sorbet, slight lime, a little malt and grain leading to orange and tangerine; complex and appealing. Taste is resin, grapefruit, lychee and a short slightly thin finish. Mouthfeel a touch thin.
The nose is incredible, the taste is good and suited to an everyday refresher, but is a little ordinary as a result.
