On tap at MBGSF 2011 as All Day IPA. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aroma is very strong, lots of citrusy grapefruit and pine. Flavor is comparatively weak, but still fairly nice, with pine, floral, light grapefruit, and a medium bitterness. Smells great, flavor is a little disappointing, though.

Draft at Founders taproom. Pours a golden. Small white head. Nice piney aroma. Flavor was dry hops. Nice mild bitter aftertaste. Last time I saw this I skipped it because I figured it had to be wimpy. I was looking for something lighter this time around and this one didn’t disappoint. Toms of hops and flavor for such a light low alchohol beer. Very impressive.

Mine was labeled “All Day IPA” with the label I voted for on the Founders web page a while back. But don’t let the pitch as a session beer scare you. This beer is a true ipa. Starts nice and sweet and finishes with a crisp grapefruit tang. So flavorful and drinkable that I went over to the computer to look this beer up and make sure it was not just a special season beer. Happily looks like I’ll get to drink this year road as a very flavorful “lawn mower” beer.

Best thing about this beer is the aroma. Crystal clear golden color. Two finger white head. Interesting aftertaste. Not sure if I’d try again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy straw color. Very thin white head that did not leave any lacing. Aroma is great...hoppy. Mouthfeel is thin, watery. Not a ton of malt backbone but I didn’t expect it. Hoppy flavors and slight bitterness. Will be a great all day drinker at the lake in the summer.

Bottle @ Aarons place, Thanks. Pours golden with a wite head. Aroma of light malt, grapefruit, resin, piney. Taste is malt, biscuit, grapefruit, piney, citrus, resin. Thin to medium, soft carbonation. Wellbalaced, actually more balanced than most IPAs, but also a bit to much on the mellow side. 020312

Bottle. Pours a clear, light amber color with a slight off white head. Aroma is funk, grapefruit, orange peel, and some malt. Taste is American hops, pine, grass, with a good malt backbone. Light body, clean finish.

Low IBU. Very drinkable. Tons of citrus hop flavor and aroma. I would drink this all day for sure.

Golden pour with a thin white head. Citrus hoppiness mixed with biscuit and caramel malt. Balanced taste - lighter citrus fruit pine, caramel and slightly bready. Carbonation is right for the style. A session ale it claims to be and a session ale it is.

Starts with a nice grassy aroma, with pine notes. Pours a clear light-amber, with a quickly fading white head. The flavor is predominantly grassy hops, with a touch of citrus. Light and crisp on the palate, this is an easy drinking beer. For a session beer, this is a nice one that leans towards the hoppy side.
