3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
355mL as "All Day IPA" thanks to mikem409. Super fresh bottle consumed two weeks after bottling! Pours clear, correctly filtered and non bottle conditioned orangish gold with lower carbonation and a medium, white, rocky head. Suddy lace. Nose is fresh orange juice, light mango, Valencia orange, sweet mangosteen, lemon zest, herbal hops, candied tamarind. Mild waffle and pancake sugary malt quality. Taste is quit old school- rich biscuity and full with faux diacetyl ending with sharp, herbal hops and juicy orange. No true diacetyl. Finish is super clean and light with hints of herbal soapiness and quenching saltwater. So good for 4.7% and bonus points for that. My sick girlfriend said it tasted like "grandma’s biscuits with hops." Terrific session beer. Thank the lord for this!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a nice light gold-to-copper color with a white head and a good amount of lacing. Smell is quite strong and hoppy with some excellent floral, citrus, and tropical notes. Taste draws back a bit, but is still quite nice. Light malt character, but really not too much. Mouthfeel is light and dry. I see drinking this one all summer.A Nice session summer brew.

on tap at Buckeye beer engine, nose is awesome, super bright super hoppy but not bitter hoppy just bright citrus. body falls off on the hops but without any alcohol or burn just finely balanced.. this drinks pretty easy.. nice job founders.. though it was cited as 6% abv on the menu I believe it to be 4.7%

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a thin head. Great citrus hoppy aroma. Just enough of the hops on the palate but certainly not an overpowering amount. Absolutely can’t wait to drink this on a hot summer day.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Has a yellow color that is very similar to the piss you will take the following morning. A very strong hoppy aroma that i feel does come through in the overall taste as well, but this bitterness is noticed later as this will stick to the palate like glue. Not the best thing Founders has to offer, but if available to you, I would recommend this beer for your next session.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2014 Hazy gold, frothy white head, large bubbled. Metallic oily nose, bit of caramel, tons of piney hop and florals. Papery front palate, tons of bright, juicy bitterness with orange and mango, directly hoppy but short on thin in the undercarbonated finish. Muted overall with little grain balance and a weak experience overall when stacked against more robust examples.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour out of bottle is clear yellow-orange with white head, thanks to Aaron for the pour! Aroma has notes of big dank forest and pine, hints of orange and lemon in there, hints of biscuit as well. Taste is big hoppy orange and grapefruit up front, slight hints of resinous pine, some nice biscuit and cracker notes, finish fairly dry and bitter. Tasty, different from their other IPAs but in a good way.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle to a New Belgium Globe
Aroma: Pine, citrus, the usual hop characters you would expect. A very minimal hint of toast character.
Appearance: Amber, slighlty cloudy, minimal head, and no lacing.
Taste: Medium bitterness, not overpowering at all. I
Palate: A light body, slightly oily, yet thin. Average carbonation, with a quick dry finish.
O: For what Founders was probably aiming for with this; they nailed it. It’s an enjoyable, flavorful IPA, that doesn’t overpower you. I liked it.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market North Raleigh and shared at the Baltimore Irish Chanukah tasting, 3/17/12. Pours a clear golden color with a thin fizzy off-white head. Decent retention. Aroma of herbal, floral hops and bready malts. The taste is bitter hops, bready slightly toasted malts. Medium bodied, quite drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled at the Irish Hanukkah Tasting. Clear yellow pour with ring of offwhite head. What a welcome change of pace after the hebrew jewbelation vertical. Lovely refreshing citrus green grassy pale ale. grapey. Good lingering bitterness is very enjoyable. I can definitely see why this would be so sessionable.
