draft at maproom. pours gold with white head. nose is green and grassy. flavors of citrus, green, melon, honey finish. Good stuff but not bitter enough for an ipa listing. great beer for a beer of the month though.

16oz pour @ Maproom. This poured gold with a white head and some lace. aroma was citrus, floral, and a bit o spice. flavor was actually more balanced than anticipated with pine, floral, and some malt. body was light-medium with medium carbonation.

12 oz bottle. Pours a light golden with a small white head. Aroma is piney, lightly citric, earthy and herbal hoppiness with a nice sweet caramel backbone. Flavor is much the same, nicely fresh piney hops, with a hint of citrus and a light grainy character towards the finish. Medium body and a crisp carbonation. Certainly not the most flavorful ipa but as a session ale it’s nice, and very quaffable beer.

A couple sixers in the last couple weeks. All day IPA is a pretty good name for this beer if it was indeed an ipa. But it drinks more like a pale ale. Appreciate the lower abv no doubt, but it definitely lacks in flavor a bit compared to their other India-inspired offerings. But its very clean and drinks good. Will buy again because its easy to drink and tasty, but it doesn’t really command one’s attention.

Sample at Kalamazoo Beer Exchange (as "All Day IPA). Pours a lustrous clear yellow-orange color with a medium bone white head that burns away steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Light body with a moderately bitter hops character that has grassy and fruity notes. Malt and caramel in the background. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Solid "Session IPA" overall.

bottle to glass reveals a light copper appearance. Most lower alcohol beers are terrible in the taste department, but this is basically your standard IPA flavorwise. Nice pine, resin, spruce, and light citrus. Nicely done Founders, but not quite as satisfying as Victory’s Headwaters.

12 oz bottle: Aroma has a wonderful pungent hop aroma, juicy grapefruit, nice and sweet scent too. Appearance is golden with the slightest hue of amber and minimal white head that lingers. Taste has a wonder upfront hop not then a nicely balance malt backing. Don’t get me wrong, the hops are the star of the show. But very, very slight malt characteristic. Palate is slightly sticky aftertaste with hops the major contributor, and a medium to low carbonation in the mouthfeel. Overall, A really taste Session IPA. Cheers!

12oz bottle thanks to grub.
Appearance : Clear amber with small white foamy head. Short head retention, not much lacing.
Aroma : Fresh floral and piny hops. Quite fruity. Some malt.
Taste : Fruity and piny hops with malt. Finish is rather resinous and piny with some floral notes. Moderate bitterness. No trace of alcohol. Persistent hops on finish, slightly oily.
Palate : Average carbonation. Could a bit mellower.
Overall : Great stuff. Would have been more sessionable for me if the resinous notes were tone down a bit and if carbonation was slightly less fizzy. Overall a very nice offering. Well made, well balanced.

Ok, first of all, 5 for appearance because it has a mid 70’s Jeep wagoneer on the label, and that’s cool. But beyond that, This is exactly the type of beer I dig. Simple, slightly too hoppy, lower abv and insanely easy to drink. More, please.

Apparently I’m on an ipa kick right now. This is a little lighter and on the more grassy side. Definitely session able. Copper color. Tangerine apricot aroma. Flavor has some caramel body but is mostly grassy and herbal in the finish
