pnista (863), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Feb 24, 2008 On tap at Founders. Clear orangy gold with a white head. Big fresh resiny hops. Citrus, sweet clean nose. Medium body with even small bubbles. Big fresh hops, light sweetness. A bit of a big dry tea-like tannic hoppiness to go with that lovely fresh resin flavor. A bitter finish for sure. Reminiscent of the SN Harvest ale, me thinks, though a bit drier with lightr malt character. I love Founders more all the time! holdenn (1103), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 30, 2007 On tap at the Great Lakes Brew Fest. Pours a clear orange with a beige head. Aroma is citrus, orange and pine. Orange citrus fruity flavors with caramels, and a strong slightly cloying bitterness. Tasty beer though. pantanap (677), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 26, 2007 draft at founders....appearance: hazy ornage brown with a thin head....aroma: very assertive citrus hop nose....taste: lots of pine and citrus. a very nice double ipa but does nothing to make it stand out from the others i have tried. masonjer (394), Lansing, Michigan, USA Oct 8, 2007 Had this on tap at the brewery. Smelled wonderful, citrus, exotic tropical fruit. Taste was very nice. Everything I hope for in a DIPA. Grapefruit, citrus, very balanced and nicely hopped. Very nice. drunkysersose (7), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA does not count Sep 29, 2007 OMG... Sitting in Founders (My MO) drinking the IPA. Great stuff... decided to try the All Night Long... WOW!
