Thanks to Matt via Joel. The beer smells of butterscotch, pecans, and pralines, but doesn’t smell very good. Smells artificial. The beer pours to an amber body with a thin whitish head. The flavor is sweet, acetic, and overall boring. Hard to describe but not worth doing that either. I’d much rather have a fresh Miller High Life than drink this.

From a tap,clear,caramel, floral, medium bitterness, amber, minimal head, medium body, slick feel, bitter, average carbonation.

Cloudy amber pour with small head leaving significant lacing. Nice citrus in the aroma. Taste is overwhelmingly bitter more akin to an IPA. Short bitter finish.

Pours mahogany with a thin tan head. Smells of caramel, some fruity hints, resiny. Tastes sweet with caramel and some peppery splashes dominating a bitter finish.

12 oz. bottle - Poured a deep amber color with medium head.
Aroma - sweet, cotton candy, herbal hops, caramel malt and bubblegum.
Flavor - A mixture of sweet and sour flavor.
Palate - light to medium mouthfeel. Lively and soft carbonation with short finish with little aftertaste.
Overall - I am quite surprised by low ratings. I realli enjoyed this beer and would purchase again.

Sampled at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits mini tasting and shared by joebrew as Founder’s Red Eye Ale. Pours a hazy orange amber brew with a thick beige head that has some good retention. Aroma of caramel malt, some flowery hops wit a slight apple/pear character. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of fruity caramel malt, some citrusy hops and a touch of butterscotch. Finish is semi-sweet, dry hop bitterness and a slight fruit aftertaste flavor.

Dark Orange with White Blotchy Skin. Sweet and Dry Malt, Nice Hop Notes...Arguably the Centerpiece of this Brew..Some Dry Toasted Notes. Dry Crisp Finish. Nice.

Muddy deep amber colour with a frothy beige head. Malty, caramel sweet aroma with a light fruity and bready note. Malty, light sour flavor.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Hazy, amber golden with a gigantic, off-white head. Fruity aroma. Light-bodied with underlying, unclean notes of cheap candy. No bitterness. Quite unpleasant really. I sort of hope this was off. 291206
