3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Founders apricot swarm. 6.5. Big apricot wheat aroma. Sweet and biscuity. Nice. Flavor is sweet and slightly tart. Huge apricot puree with light citrus. Delicious fruit beer with a huge honey-infused bready finish. I must note that this beer is very similar to cerise

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Founders. Poured into a snifter.
The pour yields a brew that is a very hazy apricot color with a decent white head and some good lacing on the way down. The nose is really heavy handed on the apricot color with a bit of mild grain in the background. The taste is overwhelming-sweet to start, though it’s balanced by some grain and fruit as it warms up. Heavy apricot character. In the end, however, the sweetness proves too much as this is almost cloying. Body is medium with lighter levels of carbonation. Not too bad; could work with less residual sweetness and a body that was a bit lighter.
