Mango Magnifico is a never-before-released, high-gravity fruit beer brewed with mango and Michigan-grown habaneros. Each 750mL bottle of this 10% ABV ale is intended to be shared. Not a traditional fruit beer, the delicate tropical fruit in Mango Magnifico is punctuated by a hint of heat, increasing the overall depth of flavor and adding another level of complexity. It will be a refreshing drink for the warm summer months.

Left work early when @ChurchkeyDC tweeted they were tapping this. Four ounce draft in a snifter @ChurhkeyDC. Crisp, clean apperance. Light head. Wine-like nose; oddly reminded me of smelling chardonnay. Front end is boozy; rides right up into your nose. Very fruity beer. You can taste mango, but barely. Finishes with a nice heat. Disappointing beer; and I’m a huge Founders fan!

Tap@FrbØlbar. Pours golden with small head. Aroma is fruity with exotic fruits and somewhat sweet. Taste is fruity, with pineapple, mango and lightly malty which ends in a strong chili burn to the end.

Poured from a bottle. Decent head, yellow clear appearance. Fruity aroma (definitely mango), and a hell of a kick past the teeth. Terrific spice, delicious taste.

Bottled. Pours hazy deep golden with a small white head. Aroma of mango, pineapple and peachy notes with a little chili bite. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and slightly bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice habanero(!) ale indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Sample at WOBFest 2016. Surprisingly good. The mango sweetness is complimented very nicely by a hint of habanero, which keeps the mango from being annoyingly sweet like many other mango beers.

Draft pour at the Willard’s Tap House. Peach golden pour with a quick fading head. Fresh peach fronted aroma. Flavor is peaches, mangos, and oranges. Drinks easy up front, but has a lingering booze burn to it. Good fruit flavor. Burn is pepper like, likely from the habenero. Delicious. Very fun try.

Bottle, 65cl. Clear golden/amber with a frothy offwhite head. Aromas of mango , chile, alcohol. Medium to full bodied with moderate to fizzy carbonation. Medium sweet, medium to heavy spicy. Fiery mango licor character into a punishing alcohol and spicy finish. Artificial, but not undrinkable. Heavy and with lots of character for what it is.
