Mango Magnifico is a never-before-released, high-gravity fruit beer brewed with mango and Michigan-grown habaneros. Each 750mL bottle of this 10% ABV ale is intended to be shared. Not a traditional fruit beer, the delicate tropical fruit in Mango Magnifico is punctuated by a hint of heat, increasing the overall depth of flavor and adding another level of complexity. It will be a refreshing drink for the warm summer months.

Left work early when @ChurchkeyDC tweeted they were tapping this. Four ounce draft in a snifter @ChurhkeyDC. Crisp, clean apperance. Light head. Wine-like nose; oddly reminded me of smelling chardonnay. Front end is boozy; rides right up into your nose. Very fruity beer. You can taste mango, but barely. Finishes with a nice heat. Disappointing beer; and I’m a huge Founders fan!

Bottle. Pours a clearish orange with a fading off white bubbly lacy head. Aroma is of mango, vanilla, candy, really sweet. Taste is of mango, peach, habanero is noticeable on the finish, overly sweet for me. Sticky syrupy mouthfeel, medium carbonation.

Prominent pleasing sweet mango nose; very sweet (too much) mango front pallet taste with a subtle Habanero pepper taste that builds just a bit as it finishes and lingers until the next sip. Cut the sweetness and let the ALC shine or hop it up just a bit and this beer would knock my socks off.

Sweet, sweet, hot and hot mango ale with lemon and orange flavor too. Spicy at the back of the tongue, and booooooozy. Tastes like liqueur really.

750-ml bottle from craftbeertemple. beautiful clear orange gold color, huge unique mango nose, big foamy head, much superior sweet heat (to the recent Kaiser’s Sweet Heat), full body, indeed magnifico!

750 ml. bottle. It pours a lightly hazed orange color with a small white head. The aroma is strong with tea leaves and mango. Kind of like Lipton mango tea with some artificial mango candies and very faint hints of peppers. The flavor is rich and oily with more mango candies, honey and a good amount of chile heat in the finish. Pretty sweet and candy-like overall, but the chiles actually do provide a nice counter balance to that. Huh... I really was expecting to hate this, but I’m digging it much more than I thought I would. Very oily on the palate and full bodied with a lot of honey. Mango, tea, honey and chiles. Not bad actually.

Poured a hazy orange-amber color with a large white head. Aroma is mostly sweet mango with a touch of pepper. Taste is very sweet and fruity at first with good mango flavors. Some slight honey/orange flavors as well. A slight kick with the habanero, but less than i was expecting. The finish is sweet and with more mangos. Alcohol is very well hidden. Overall not bad but a little too close to fruit juice.

Bottle. Pours hazy candy orange, small off-white head, dissipates leaving a bubbly ring and some lacing. Aroma is mango for sure, honey, herbal notes. Flavor is fairly sweet with a light plus chili spicy burn, mango, honey, peach. Medium body. Interesting, but a bit overly sweet for me.
