Big and delicious for your íperty mouth. Expect lovely, warm smells of single malt scotch, oaky bourbon barrels, smoke, sweet caramel and roasted malts. A bit of earthy spice and a scintilla of dark cherries. Itís a kick-back sipper made to excite the palate.

Draft at Mad Mex South Hills. Murky brown with off white foam, great retention for style and decent lacing. Lots of vanilla and caramel in the nose. Flavor is bourbon, lots of heat, vanilla and oak covered in sugar and caramel. Hot, boozy and bitter finish.

12oz bottle. clear brown under a small creamy tan head. aroma is bourbon with occasional whiffs of sweet caramel and chocolate candy bars. body seems light to medium. alcohol is almost completely hidden. the flavors rely heavily on the bourbon and oak but are balanced with some sweetness. incredibly easy to drink considering the abv. pretty nice....especially for bourbon fans.

Bottle from Bruisiní. Lots of bourbon on this one but still works well. If you can stand heavy use of bourbon then I would recommend this. Itís been a cold winter here and Iíve been in a mood for whisky so this hits the spot. The aroma has all the wood and vanilla from a fine Kentucky bourbon whisky with a little malt, maybe. Itís just really strong in the vanilla and oak. The palate is good, works well. Lots of additional oak and vanilla with a pleasing biscuity finish. This is a very drinkable beer for the winter but is nearly like drinking bourbon. Fine with me.

On tap. Pours a clear walnut brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is huge bourbon and oak, woodiness. Vanilla and caramel are kind of hiding behind the bourbon, but bourbon is the front runner on this one. Flavor is nice and complex with a lot of woodiness, vanilla, caramel, bourbon, toffee, dark fruit. Really nice beer and probably one of the better scotch ales Iíve had.

First off, you must like the smell of Bourbon to like this beer. Pours a light brown with a light head. Aroma is strong with Bourbon, with some caramel and hops. Taste is pretty well balanced with malt, caramel, and floral hops to go with the bourbon. Overall it is well put together and balanced, just a lot of them derive from the bourbon barrels. Good winter night beer.

Bottle from TheCheeseMan, thanks! Dark brown color. Oak, malt, vennel and bourbon in the aroma. Malty flavor with oak and vanilla. Bourbon is clearly noticeable. Alcoholic, yet rounded and soft, and with a good complexity. Excellent sipper.

Pour is a murky brown with a small tan head. Aroma is deffinatly bourbon with some smoke in there plus a nice cherry. Flavor is great! Lots of bourbon-scotch with a mild alcohol burn on the tounge. If i would not know any better i would think i was drinking a mild scotch rather than a beer. deffinatly well crafted and something to slow sip on a cold winter night.

Straight scotch, bourbon, and oaky tones burst on the dark, amber brown pour. Light, stony khaki head with a medium to heavy body. Very creamy smooth carbonation with a wonderful smoky caramel flavor with a light boozy bitter aftertaste. Creamy carbonation
