COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Big and delicious for your ’perty mouth. Expect lovely, warm smells of single malt scotch, oaky bourbon barrels, smoke, sweet caramel and roasted malts. A bit of earthy spice and a scintilla of dark cherries. It’s a kick-back sipper made to excite the palate.

Wonderful aroma, rich, deep and sweet with heady alcohol, malty, caramel smell. Beautiful dark caramel color. Strong and sweet taste - definitely a sipper.

My Bottom Line:
Vanilla bourbon flavors are molded into a lascivious mouthfeel heated up by alcohol heat and lingering wood.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam decorates the darkest ruby.
-The mouthfeel is rich, yes, but the supple carbonation makes it become an elegant dessert.
-The flavor profile is rather linear. Malts aren’t as deep as I like in this style (overtaken by the barrel treatment, probably?)
-Licorice-like sugared fruitiness appears after a while.

Bottle.

Poured from a bottle from 2012, so it has about 2 years of age on it. Strong aroma of bourbon and maple syrup. Rich, clear, and inviting caramel color with little to no head. Maple syrup qualities are prominent in the flavor as well. Bourbon and booziness is also there. These flavors overwhelm pretty much everything else, probably because of the age on the bottle. I really like it but think I prefer it a bit fresher.

Ingen öl i min smak...

Tap at brewfest. Brown pour with off white head. Smells of bourbon and malts. Great bourbon notes: vanilla, wood, caramel. Warms you a up a little bit

Pours dark brown with thin head. This one smells like a bottle of find bourbon with a hint of malt. Taste is super smooth notes of vanilla toffee and caramel. Perfectly balance flavor. Medium body, low carbonation. Loved this one.

Pours a cloudy chestnut brown with minimal head. Aroma is figgy with dark and sweet malts. Flavor is very sweet and masks the abv very well. There is nothing to dislike about this brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
