Big and delicious for your íperty mouth. Expect lovely, warm smells of single malt scotch, oaky bourbon barrels, smoke, sweet caramel and roasted malts. A bit of earthy spice and a scintilla of dark cherries. Itís a kick-back sipper made to excite the palate.

Bottle at Taco Mac. Pours brownish ruby red with tan head. Aroma is caramel, oak, raisin and a touch of bourbon. Very sweet, like drinking liquid butterscotch. Medium mouthfeel, smooth and silky. Exceptional beer.

Way too strong. Know I'm in the minority but this thing is a hot mess. Bourbon barrel dominates instead if complimenting already fine beer. Gonna let the remaining 2 from the 4 pack sit for a year or so and revisit ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a two finger, off-white head that slowly fades to a thin layer leaving some lace. Deep ruby color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Nice oak and bourbon nose. Flavor is similar with bourbon and oak, some malty sweetness. The high ABV is hidden. $3.50 for a 12oz bottle from Bertís Better Beers Hooksett, NH.

The beer pours coppery brown with a minimal white head. Fruity aroma with cherry overtones. Easy palate, but with the cherry taste. Rating a beer is necessarily subjective, and here is where I just differ with the others who have tasted this beer. I found the fruity flavor distracting and not entirely pleasant. I will probably pass on this beer in the future. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a dark amber with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong dark fruit, caramel, roasted malt. Thin mouthfeel with strong caramel, dark fruit, nice booze, very nice.

Well hot damn. This beer well exceeded my expectations. Aroma of toffee, burnt sugar, oak, bourbon. Sweet at first upon tasting, but not overly so. Notes of pecan, bourbon, almond, sweet caramel. Such a complex beer. Never tasted anything like it.

Wild thang, I think I love you. Itís like a soft Bourbon found on a different planet. Definitely sipper no gulper. It wants to have sex with your mouth. Let it have its way.

This beer blew. My. Mind. The aroma is almost coconut-y. Definitely a slow sipper as it tastes more like a liquor. The flavor is pleasing and was certainly a worthy experience. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap, poured into a belgian tulip. Dark cherry aromas are most dominant at first, but they fade quickly leaving warm caramel, wood, ash, earth and roasty notes on the nose. It pours a deep, rich, red-brown color thatís nearly opaque with a tan fuzzy head that reduces to a medium thin ring with a clean surface and lacing. The taste is a medium-high sweet with a medium bitterness. The texture is viscous and sticky with a soft, fuzzy carbonation. The full malt body is filled out by notes of cherry, caramel, and oak with an earthy, ashy, and lightly spicy finish all with a light touch of alcohol warmth. The aftertaste starts of strong, but fades quickly, and cleans up nicely, echoing notes of caramel and oak, with an earthy character to it.
