4.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
draft at the brewpub: looks like a cloudy bloody mary, aroma of berries, taste of sour cherries, some citrus, a little bite from the mild carbonation, only mildly sour, a very interesting and tasty beer

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler thanks to my Secret Santa, whose identity I still have not ascertained. I took this to Paul’s for a big ol’ tasting. Pours a cloudy brown with ruby highlights and a thin white head. Aroma is very weak, nothing really stands out. Light oxidized malt, Loads of fruit, tastes like a cherry compote almost, lightly sweet, lots of tannins and a bit of tartness. Finishes up with more cherry skin tannins and a bit of subtle sweetness. Rather tasty.

Draft at brewery. Murky pink-light red colour. Aroma of strawberry, vanilla, forest fruits, banana. Flavour is very fruity, strawberry, passion fruits, some malts. Thick brew, with a smooth mouthfeeling. Not overly sweet. Could have this for breakfast everyday!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Founders. Murky V8 juice body, also kin to a bloody mary, or a package of defrosted frozen strawberries in syrup. Wacky. Strong, sweet, dense nose of primarily strawberries. The body is tart and sweet, again primarily of strawberries, but with woody, almost bitter notes in the finish. A thick beer/fruit smoothie. This and the Newaygo County Cherry aim for the "extreme" fruit beer classification.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewery tasting room. Note this batch was 7.3% a.b.v. It as grapefruit pinnk colour and lacey. It smelled berry, and some citrus. The taste was a nice tartness, with coconut Good drinkability, I call it a beer sangria. Average mouthfeel.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Growler. Pours a punch maroon like body with a white head. Fruity berries,l raspberries, strawberries, cranberries. The aroma doesn’t carry as well into the flavor. Sweet with a soft lightly grain body. Decent fruit beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Growler shared by J12601. Pours a hazy almost murky pinkish violet red with a thin white head. Aroma is muddled fruits- raspberry, cherry and some other stone fruits- pear and peach with slight vegetable character. Flavor is mineral and chalk-like with more mixed fruits, raspberry and cherry dominate- more vegetable character, earth, and pitty tannins- slight slickness and a very light tartness. A bit too jumbled and unrefined.

Growler pour @ Paul’s tasting. Hazy ruby pour with a slight white head. Full fruit aroma not too sweet. Cherry, rasp, cran, berries don’t follow too much into the flavor.
