COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blushing Monk is brewed with a ridiculous amount of raspberries and with a Belgian yeast strain that keeps our head cellar operator from sleeping for a week. It pours a stunning deep berry red and, at 9.2% ABV, has a surprising kick. The perfect dessert beer, it can be enjoyed on its own or paired with fresh cheeses, fruit, cakes and more.

First released in July 2011, rereleased in 2015.

Tap at Beer Deluxe. Seriously impressive stuff. I love Rubaeus and this is basically that with way more tart and a toned down sweetness. Rockin beer

Keg. Clear deep red with a medium sized pink head with good retention and lace. Powerful fruity nose with lots of raspberries. Flavour is also full on with raspberries and forest fruit. Light hay and dust. With heavy sweetness it feels somewhat syrupy, but soft carbonation and some dryness coming in towards the finish makes it drinkable enough. Medium/full body, soft and sweet finish with lingering fruit syrup. Alcohol well integrated. Good, but I rarely feel the need for something like this.
