Pours a deep magenta with a thin white head. Tart raspberries and cranberries in the aroma. Sharp tart sweet raspberry. Pretty full in the mouth, definite pucker. I’m not picking up any funkiness here. I couldn’t drink too much of this, too sweet/syrupy. The abv isn’t really noticeable and the fruit comes across really well, no medicinal/cough syrup hints!

Thanks to BDR for sharing. Red color with no head. Solid cherry aroma. I did not get any raspberry at all, but thought it was an excellent cherry beer. A dry grain and bready flavor backs up the sweetness. Yeasty and slightly tart finish.

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle. Thin foam of strawberry mousse on a body of deep transparent red. Cough syrup aroma of alcoholic raspberry and some generic sterile funkiness. Sweat and carpet. Cloying sugars. Heavy, thick raspberry flavor in some chewy yogurt, honey and syrupy temporanillo-like fruitiness that sits with callous obesity in the mouth. Palate is rich and decadent with a dense, pie-filling coating effect, finishing dryly on some acerbic seed and alcohol, though smacking on some doughy malt and warm fruit to seem more amicable and balanced; alcoholic remaining reticent, this is kindly the impression that lasts. Thanks for sharing, Brad!

Pours hazy rose to red with thin white head. The aroma is sugary sweet fruitiness with raspberries, ripe cherries and some mild fruity tartness. The taste is lively and up front yum. I get sweet raspberry fruitiness that gives way to an increasing fruit tartness. A mild sugar tart raspberry candy note helps take the other notes into the finish. Refreshing nearly sessionable brew with no sense of the ABV.

Bottle shared by Vferg. This is the rubaeus on crak. Pours a redish purple pulp into my glass with a quick stream of co2 shooting to the top. Sour raspberries, almost neutral ph and heavily carbonated. Of the 4 or times i’ve had this, this is the most enjoyment i’ve had by far. Mouthwateringly great.

Tastes like sangria or a wine cooler. Don’t let that scare you away - this stuff is good. Pours a ruby red grapefruit color and is sour to the taste but this turns to sweetness. The Raspberries definitely enhance the flavor and give this a strong, fruit flavor.

Bonus from AllABout Stout, Pours a beautiful raspberry red with no head. Nose is sweet with almost nothing but raspberries. Honestly, a bit wine cooler ish, with a mellow, dry finish. No trace of alcohol. I hate to admit, but I really liked it. Does that make me a 21 year old girl??

Pours a cloudy ruby red grapefruit color. A small, foamy tan head leaves minimal sudsy spotting on the glass. The aroma is as fruity as they come, with raspberries and cherries providing massive sweetness, and cranberries and orange rind adding a slightly spicy, sharp twang to the nose. Flavors continue that theme, with the same elements working harmoniously towards a sweet and sour (well, mostly sweet) balance. The mouthfeel is full and slick, finishing sticky and sitting a little heavy in the stomach. This is highly enjoyable in small doses, but I don’t think I could be forced into slugging down more than a few ounces of this intense, syrupy brew. Its a nice dessert drink to share with 4-5 people.
