22oz bottle. Enjoyed with family during our first brew day together. Very pretty beer. Red tinted and beautifully carbonated. The aroma is sweet tarts and Belgian yeast. The flavor is nothing if not raspberry sweet tart. You could say there are malts and other Belgian hints but really just raspberry sweet tart on top of a crisp carbonated wine like brew. Medium body and very drinkable. I’ll have to see if I can get some more of this. Even my mom liked it.

Not a bad brew, but I was expecting more since I really like Rübæus. The body was cloudy red. The aroma was raspberry with some cellar type funk. There was also pancakes and maple syrup. The taste was fairly sour with some tart raspberry. There was also a little bit of leather and apple core. Not a bad effort, but I wanted a little more.

22 oz bomber from Crown #15 in Fishers IN. Pours a deep cranberry juice red with a thin pink head that reduces quickly. Big, solid, tart raspberries on the nose (and perhaps a hint of candy sugar). I’ve never smelled a fruited beer that smells more like fresh fruit than this one. Medium-bodied and lightly effervescent with a tart and mildly dry finish. Sweet and tart raspberry with a nice lightly dry finish. This is probably the best fruit beer that I’ve sampled to date, but at $17 a bomber I’d have to say that Rübæus (Blushing Monk’s "smaller" sibling) is the better value.

bomber shared by Weepster, thanks Mike. poured a reddish pink with a small white-ish head. as I’m sure others have mentioned this was all about the raspberries, in the aroma and flavor. an interesting brew and I’m surprised to read as I fill out the rating that it checks in at 12% abv. glad several of us were sharing the bottle as this was so sweet, I could not have finished it by myself.

Bottle. Pours a rich red color with a small pink head. Aroma of raspberries and light hops. Taste is very similar with the alcohol hidden very well. Sweet dry finish. Pricey but good.

Its all about the raspberries with this beer. Raspberries from the aroma to the finish...and did I mention the alcohol? Who would have thought a fruit beer would be 12%. Very sweet, too sweet after awhile. A great fruit beer every once in awhile, but not something I would consistently drink.

Bottle at the Great Lakes Brew Fest. I’m glad I got to try this so I don’t have to pop this just yet. Pours a light clear red with a small pink head. Aroma of fruit punch. Raspberries and sugar. Complex berries in the flavor though. Cherries, and cherry pits, earthy, with sour notes. Slightly watery, finishes dry.
