Bottle from Secreta Santa. Ruby red color. Raspberry jam and a hint of oak in the aroma. Sweet, sugary flavor with raspberries, totally hiding the alcohol. But the alcohol is there, I assure you! Hints of lemon and honey, the tartness only comes from the fruit. Interesting and loveable beer. Too sweet, but there is enough to compensate.

Pours a dark ruby red with a thin fizzy light pink head that quikly fades. Nice funky aroma with pleasant raspberry presence that is not too overpowering. Excellent balance of sour and sweet with a slight spiciness. Huge raspberry presence that is not too sweet, being balanced out by slightly sour earthy funkiness. Very quaffable and not acidic at all with a dry finish

This shit makes me want to fuck. Bottled: 2006 Aroma makes me think that this is the most sexy raspberry beer I have ever had; suck my nuts, Raspberry Tart. A beautiful raspberry tart bouquet. Taste is sweet dark raspberry- kind of a chocolate raspberry, and dense malts. Wow. Yum. Bitter raspberry, chocolate, and bitterness. Wow. Amazing.

I think I tried this twice. Once at T3 toncatcher tasting and brought a bottle to the bottle shop. Wow! The best date beer in the world. 12.3% and completely well hidden. Tons of fruity aroma. Very good.

They call this stuff LPR for a reason. 12.3% and very drinkable. One of my favorite brews from founders and sampled on many occasions. Tart jammy raspberry aroma and flavor, easy to drink, and a great buzz to go with it. I love this stuff.

Bottle shared by Swolf3 at the NSSMNSLT. Pour was a brilliant deep garnet color, small frothy pink-purple colored head. The aroma was rich firm raspberries displaying also some tartness. No oak or wood, a little sticky even in the nose, aside from the tart notes. The flavor followed, pretty one dimensional on the raspberries, yet still quite a nice job. A good job playing sweet AND tart raspberries throughout. Alcohol was way smootho for the ABV. Not as complex as the NG Raspberry Tart, not as amazing as the DFH Fort in depth and complexity (at even greater ABVs), yet still near the top of the fruit beer class. Thanks, Steve, a fun one! And boy, Founders sure can make some fun stuffs!

Bottle thanks to WeeheavySD Thanks! Poured maroon with small head. Aroma was sweet tart and raspberries. Taste was similar almost like a wine spritzer. Very easy to drink for 12.3%. The sweet and tart bounces back and forth and was a very enjoyable beer. Now I just need more lol.

Bottle shared by wolf man 3008!!! Thanks brother. Nice maroon color, decent little head. Awesome aroma of raspberry... Smelled like water-ice... Taste was like a melted slurpee from 7-11.. Lots of raspberries... Super smooth. Sweet with a slight tart taste towards the end....Its hard to believe this beer is 12 percent... Not a single trace of alcohol. Way to easy to drink.. Great dessert beer or any time if you want my opinion.. Thanks wolf
