Poured from a 22 oz. bottle. Thin foam of strawberry mousse on a body of deep transparent red. Cough syrup aroma of alcoholic raspberry and some generic sterile funkiness. Sweat and carpet. Cloying sugars. Heavy, thick raspberry flavor in some chewy yogurt, honey and syrupy temporanillo-like fruitiness that sits with callous obesity in the mouth. Palate is rich and decadent with a dense, pie-filling coating effect, finishing dryly on some acerbic seed and alcohol, though smacking on some doughy malt and warm fruit to seem more amicable and balanced; alcoholic remaining reticent, this is kindly the impression that lasts. Thanks for sharing, Brad!

Bonus from AllABout Stout, Pours a beautiful raspberry red with no head. Nose is sweet with almost nothing but raspberries. Honestly, a bit wine cooler ish, with a mellow, dry finish. No trace of alcohol. I hate to admit, but I really liked it. Does that make me a 21 year old girl??

tap @ brewpub....aroma: assertive and intense raspberry nose with a small dose of malt thrown in....appearance: lavender and very murky to the eye. pink head, an interesting look to it that’s for sure...taste: sweet raspberry with a tart finish, couldn’t spot the alcohol volume but there must be one at 12+%, right (at least that’s what the bottle reads).

Bottle bought in Boston. Pours a berry-colored brown with a small pinkish head. Aroma and flavour were dominated by raspberries. Great mix between the sweet and sour notes on the raspberries. Really the only time I even notice the 12.3 ABV was right up front when it was still a little cold. Maybe a little simple but good and easy drinking.

Pours red, with a hint of brown. Small white head. Aroma is all raspberries. Flavor is raspberries, starting out, and ending tart. Some alcohol is present, but did seems less than 12.3%. Better than Rubaeus, but not quite as good as NG Raspberry Tart.

Pours a hazy ruby red raspberry color with a nice pinkish head. Aroma is of amazing tart raspberries. Flavor is a very nice tart raspberry flavor but with a nice sweet finish but not syrupy or extract tasting at all. Alcohol content is also hidden extremely well in this one. Excellent.

Bottle. Dark red pour, opaque. Aroma of raspberries. The flavor is also raspberries (slightly tart and seedy), very fresh and tasty. Extremely light for 12%, and the fruit and carbonation level reminded me of drinking a martinelli’s sparkling cider (but obviously raspberry flavored).

22oz - Aroma of raspberry danish with some fresh raspberries on the side and alcohol. Pours transparent garnet with cascading bubbles, a fluffy pink head and great lacing. Flavor is sour raspberries followed by yeast, malts and a slight alcohol burn. Palate is tart and sticky. Even though the alcohol is present in both aroma and flavor, it is not as overpowering as 12.3% would lead on. A tasty brew, almost wine like.
