Draft: Poured at the brewery shortly after its release; burgundy, bordering on a black raspberry color and no head to speak of. HUUUUGGGEE raspberry yeast aroma but not to the point of overkill. Very silky/creamy mouth feel. Flavor is a conglomeration of tart mixed berries and some lightly roasted malt. Great stuff and the alcohol was masked nicely.

Its all about the raspberries with this beer. Raspberries from the aroma to the finish...and did I mention the alcohol? Who would have thought a fruit beer would be 12%. Very sweet, too sweet after awhile. A great fruit beer every once in awhile, but not something I would consistently drink.

Bottle from Capone’s and shared with Axilla. Great red color with soda like fizzy head that quickly went away. Raspberries came in strong and perfectly tart. It’s amazing this one can hide the alcohol so well. The price tag was high, but this is one I’m very glad I tried and wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. Super.

This was a refreshing and tasty beer good for a hot day with a rasberry taste and not to overwhelming. The alcohol is well hidden and not noticeable at all.CHEERS!

Pours deep ruby red with thin purpleish head. Aroma of raspberries and funk. Nice sweet raspberries up front then turns tart.

Poured a deep ruby red out of the bottle with a pinkish head. Smelled of raspberries, with balancing sweetness and tart aroma. Taste was big raspberries, with a well balanced sweetness, finishes slightly tart. I have had this on tap, and I think I like it slightly more on tap than out of a bottle, but this is one of my favorite fruit beers.

Bottle. Pours a rich red color with a small pink head. Aroma of raspberries and light hops. Taste is very similar with the alcohol hidden very well. Sweet dry finish. Pricey but good.

Bottle. Aroma is just all raspberry and a tinge of malts. Pours a cloudy pink with a pink fizzy head. Flavor is primarily sweet raspberry and a bit of brown sugary malt. Palate is bubbly sticky and tart. Overall, quite enjoyable.
