22oz bottle. Aroma: fresh raspBEERies slight green grass smell as well. Appearance: Ruby red with a light pink head. delicate, but lingering, lacing.
Flavor: A blasting of tart raspberries, light yeast with a slight sour then sweet finish. Palate: Good mouth-feel, medium bodied. nice tight carbonation. VERY slight alcohol finish. Verdict: What a great beer, wonderful way to introduce someone into high ABV beers with out scaring them away.

Jun 29, 2008 Bottle courtesy tpd975. Pours a clear ruby red with a small light pink head that leaves spoty lacing. Aroma of fresh tart raspberries on top of more raspberries. Taste starts off with a touch of sweet malt and finishes with tons of tart raspberries. Medium tart mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitternee and insainly hidden alcohol.

Jun 17, 2008 Red pour with a snappy pink head. Aroma is very tart...with berries! Flavor is tart raspberry as well as blackberry and currants, some bread. Finishes more acidic than I expected. Very nice, 12.3? Hid the alcohol well...

Jun 15, 2008 Pours red with a tan head. Smells of flowers, perfumy, lots of raspberry. Tastes of raspberry jam, lots of buttery hints of the finish. Nice.

Clear, deep cherry body with a small white head.
Big berry aroma.
Sweet at the start, going tart into the finish.
The extremely high abv comes across as a bit of cough medicine but it stays in check.

Jun 3, 2008 A nice red color with faint pink head. Tart raspberry aroma with a malty hint. Very similar flavor profile but with a pronounced sweetness.
