COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You’ve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. We’re actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

Midnight brown with a brown ring at the top. Aroma: Coffee, black pepper, and tobacco. Tatste: A quick shot of black coffee on the middle of the tongue. Roasty malts take over. FInishes with raw coffee grinds. Mouthfeel: Very thin and silky. Overall: Not too shabby.

Black in color with a large thick beautiful brown head. Aroma is of fresh ground coffee beans. It’s like walking into a starbucks or through central markets coffee section. It also has chocolate and roasted malts in the nose. Taste is of coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, and roasted malts. Thisck like oatmeal, rich and creamy. I want another.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2009 If you want all of the complex flavors of coffee without the caffeine, and all wrapped up into a beautiful beer, this beer’s for you. From the loaded coffee aroma to the kick in the mouth roasted coffee malts with bitter chocolate under tones, this beer does the trick for coffee lovers. The thick maltiness was balanced by a very solid amount of hops that really came through on tap leading to a really nice dry finish.

Pours pitch black with a minimal brown head. Aroma mainly of coffee. Floods the mouth with coffee-y goodness. Kind of oily mouthfeel which is understandable if you watch as it pours. Almost syrupy. Flavor is like a frappuchino with more coffee. Delicious!

Bottle but also currently on tap @ Twisted Spoke. One of the best stouts i’ve ever had. Aroma is steeped coffee grounds, chocolate, and burnt bitterness. Flavor is rich, complex and coffee galore.

Bottle. Thick black elixir with brown head and loads of thick lacing. Rich coffee and mocha aromas with Mayan chocolate accents. Creamy body. Oh man! Intense creamy coffee and cocoa throughout. I love this brew!

One of the better coffee stouts to be had. Not sure it is a good choice for breakfast though. Comes in a 12oz screwtop.

Outstanding. Wish I could afford to drink this all the time. Great aroma. Great looking. Taste is excellent chocolate with maybe just a touch more coffee than I like. But overall, this is a fantastic beer.
