Youíve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. Weíre actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

Good brewery. Great style of beer. Wonderful execution. Lots and lots of coffee, chocolate and caramel in the malt but thick and creamy enough so as not to be overly sweet. Oily texture with a tan head that faded quickly from the bottle pour. Great one for winter evenings.

Malty stouty smell. Taste is a pretty standard roasty stout. You get some bitterness and sweetness, but it doesnít scream coffee or chocolate to me. Full body with very slight foam.

From tap at Taphouse, Copenhagen. Black with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of malt, roasted caramel, coffee, chocolate, dried fruit and bitterness.

12 oz bottle pour, much thanks to Alex. I owe you one for sure. Pours black with a thick tan head. Itís a shame that I canít walk into a convenient store anywhere and grab this bottle like other people can. This is fantastic stuff. Big coffee roast aroma. Huge chocolate brownie like flavor with a more coffee centered finish. Tons of flavor here. Everything I love about imperial stouts. Loved this one.

Deep, dark brown, nearly black. Almost no head or lacing. Roasted malts and coffee beans on the nose. Crisp but creamy mouthfeel. Chocolate, cocoa roasted coffee beans, dark fruit. A delicious imperial stout.

This is a truly unique imperial stout. Deep black colour with a light brown head which quickly disappears. At first I wasnít sure if this was a beer or a coffee/chocolate cake. The texture is so creamy and thick you could really eat it with a spoon for breakfast, just like the baby on the label. Aroma and taste are full of coffee and dark bitter chocolate with hints of caramel, roasted malt and oat. Overall: A great imperial stout and a dream for coffee lovers.

BIF project. Pours pitch black with a thin and quickly dissipating peanut butter colored head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma is dark roasted full bodied coffee, bitter chocolate, burnt sugar and stovetop oatmeal bubbling away. Get a huge initial bitter chocolate kick on the tongue that gives way to the creamy oats and roasted coffee. Good bitter coffee/chocolate finish to set it off. Excellent stout.

A very thick coffee scented nose. Super smooth and rich in the mouth, plenty of chocolate and oatmeal flavor. Sweetness is just cut at the close with a bit of roast astringency. Like a cold-brew coffee on nitro.

This should be an "after dinner" stout as itís a perfect cap to an evening of fine dining. This beer has so much to it- from the initial hilarious bottle image (Ubiquitous to Founders!) to the last sip, thats been warmed by you hopefully savoring this fine beer. I buy from my neighborhood market in Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn. I always pour it into a snifter. It has a slight head after a rigorous pour, but it quickly dissipates. I often let this sit a while to warm up. Initially aromas are obvious- coffee, caramel, a slight smoke, and of course dark/bitter chocolate. The taste doesnít disappoint after all the great smells. Itís got a dry somewhat stickymouthfeel because of the booziness, but I love it I know thatís an odd way to describe it, but that how it feels. CO2 is mid-low range, another plus for this great stout. I feel as though the finish is perfect- long and boozy.

Huge coffee bomb, almost has a pickled smell? Raw coffee bean. Lots of coffee follows, but a ton a chocolate too. Drinking this whole eating chocolate chip pancakes. Yes sir ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
