4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Had a fresh ass 2013 12oz bottle. It pours out dark black with a beige head. The smell makes my nose jump for joy. Huge notes of coffee and chocolate. The coffee scent really over powers everything. The taste makes my tongue feel like jump kicking a punk ass. The perfect balance of coffee and chocolate make each sip that much sweeter. And that awesome coffee flavor lasts for a while. As close to perfect as you can get with a stout. I get this beer every year and I’m never let down. In my humble and honest opinion this Breakfast beats the KBS. Beer elites everywhere might fight my ass over that comment. But it’s how I roll.

Bold coffee and chocolate notes right up front on the palette. Aroma is a bit lighter than expected, but still amazing. Great beer as a whole.

Jet black pour, toffee head. Coffee & dark roast malt in the nose. Sweet. Middle is velvety chocolate, coffee, and oats. Finish is more of the same with some hop bitterness signing off. Alcohol is well cloaked.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Dark brown cappuccino-like head. Deep brown body. Big roasted coffee aroma. Taste of burnt coffee beans, roasted malt, and aftertaste lingers with dark chocolate. Very thick and looong aftertaste.
