COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You’ve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. We’re actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

Dark black beer with a thin brown head. Great aroma with hints of chocolate and coffee. Sweet and lightly bitter flavor with light carbonation. Delicious!

Pours a thick, black, viscous liquid with no light passing when backlit. Light tan head fades to leave thick lacing. Aroma is coffee complexity and 85% cacao bitterness. Taste is balanced complexity of coffee, chocolate, oatmeal and a slight lactic tang that ties it all together. Finish is lasting, leaving me wanting more. Quite possibly a desert island beer.

Now this is what I am talking about. This beer is everything I like about stouts. Each breakfast flavor promised can be easily found and savored. Smells like brown chocolate and cappucino. i found the oats in there as well. No head in my bottle at all though. I could smell that cinnamon all day. Mild roastiness to allow for the chocolate to come through.

Pours jet black with a finger of tan head that had little retention but left some nice lacing. There is a strong aroma of roasted malt and coffee. The taste backs up the nose. Roasted malt, coffee and throw in some semi-sweet chocolate to make this offering nearly perfect. The lingering roasted bitterness in the finish is the perfect end to an outstanding beer experience. My favorite style is stout and this is my favorite stout. I cannot imagine a better beer than this. A++

Tap. One of the best and readily available. Pours a dark black with a creamy head. Nose and flavor are smooth chocolate and coffee. I love this beer!

Delicious brew. Very complex flavors but they work very well together. Full bodied with obvious chocolate notes and a hearty mouth feel reminiscent of the oatmeal notes also found within. Dark when poured, fairly lightly carbonated. Great all around!

Bottle at home, 5th April 14. Big bitter coffee aroma, tasters coffee forward, slight metallic, some chocolate, palate, slightly fizzy, pretty good, not amazing though
