COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You’ve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. We’re actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

Pours deep brown with a big soapy beige head that diminshes quickly to a thin layer. Minimal lacing. Smells of roasted coffee primarily. Tastes strongly of coffee as well, with dark chocolate and yeast. A very good imperial stout.

Bottle - near black with a tan head. Big aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, liquorice, dark fruit. Similar in the taste, smooth, medium body, nice bitter finish. Nice stout.

355 ml bottle, rated 2014-09-12 @ Hamnmästaren, Malmö
Dark brown, reddish, almost black beer with some blonde head. Aroma has roasted malts, coffee, vanilla and dark chocolate. Flavor has roasted malts, licorice, vanilla and coffee. Full palate with quite strong carbonation and stinging of bitterness. Finish has medium bitterness with some coffee acidicy and alcohol. Long aftertaste. A bit too much coffee, otherwise decent.

Bottle - pours dark black w/ tan head. Lots of coffee plus some oatmeal and chocolate in the nose. A rich, dark, bitter, and roasted chocolate taste with hints of coffee. I love coffee and this beer!!!

Aroma of chocolate, coffee, and roasted malts. Taste indicate the same, but a bit less overpowering, coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, a bit of smoke and licorice. Disappointing part of this beer for me is the mouthfeel, it’s overcarbonated and doesn’t feel creamy at all, it was way too thin.

Black in colour with a medium lasting brown head. Aromas of instant coffee, chocolate malt, cereals, milk chocolate with light toasted white bread notes develop. Light mousse soft texture with a medium-full body offering light sweetness with coffee/chocolate bitterness. Finish is lightly astingent yet in harmony.

bottle, big thanks to skykob. black and imposing with a dense brown head; aroma of cocoa nibs, coffee grounds, vanilla cream, tar; plenty of burnt bitterness, bitter chocolate, coffee liqueur, a flaked oats character rather than gluggy porridge; dry and delicious

Bottle at home. Pours black with frothy brown head dissipates to a little lacing. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, other roasted malt notes, some dark fruit, alcohol. Taste is bitter coffee and light sweetness. Finish is long alcohol warmth and coffee. Heavy bodied and nice mouthfeel. This is really nice!

Roasty with nice hints of oatmeal, chocolate, and coffee. Bitter in the way that dark chocolate typically is and very full bodied.

Bottles, thanks Beerism! I am happy to finally try this - 2012 A dark black pour with a filmy beige head. Roast coffee and molasses. Full bodied and silky soft the taste is hugely coffee with a sweet milky coffee taste. The 2013 is a similar dark cola pour with a slightly thicker beige head. It has a similar aroma as the 2012 almost identical but with a bit more of a fudgey caramel quality to it. Chocolate, milk sugary coffee taste. Sweeter than the 2012 but the differences were incredibly minimal. Ap 4 Ar 8 t 9 p 4 O 15-16
