COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You’ve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. We’re actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

12oz bottle from Southern Season. Pours thick opaque dark brown with a creamy mocha head. Aroma is fresh ground coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is big super dark chocolate melded with thick bitter espresso. Incredibly rich and creamy mouthfeel. The abv is completely hidden by the heavy body. This could legitimately work for dessert or brunch. Gotta kind KBS, might be the only thing better.

Crazy complex beer. It’s a treat to have it, it’s usually not distributed in Colorado.

I’ve had this on sitting in the fridge for a couple months, seemed like a good night to pop it open. Pours very dark with very little head. Nice and thick. Huge coffee aroma with some chocolate. Heavy, almost oily mouth feel. Some bitterness on the taste, followed by sweetness. This is real solid stout.

12oz bottle - poured in a dimpled mug - super black with a slight hue of mahogany and a thin tan head. Wonderful aroma with layers of coffee, mocha, chocolate and grain. Big bold but smooth creamy stout bursting with dark chocolate, espresso, a hint of cinnamon and Cheerios type oatiness.

12oz bottle purchased at the Beverage Warehouse in Winooski, VT. Pours dark brown, pretty much black, oily, with a frothy everlasting light brown head. Aroma of roasted coffee and dark cocoa, wonderful, long, long lasting. Taste of dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, with a backbone of alcohol. Light Mouthfeel with slight carbonation. For a widely available stout, this is absolutely top notch.

Black color with tiny beige head. Strong aroma of coffee and some chocolate, maybe some vanilla also. Taste is strong coffee, roasty notes. Full body, so you could eat this for breakfast. Very nice.

2014 vs 2015 Much bigger head on 2015 and the flavours in 2014 is much more settled. Prefer 2014 to 2015. Both very good though. A: Black coloured with a one finger brown head that dissapates fast. N: Coffee, chocolate, liqourice, maple T: Coffee, chocolate, hint of maple O: Very nice and deep flavoured stout.

Pours a dark brownish-black with a brown head. Has a cocoa, chocolate taste with a finish of delightful coffee and sweetness with just the right amount of bitterness. Has the aroma of a very good roasted coffee. Simply phenomenal.
