You’ve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. We’re actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

Pours a pitch black color with a half finger of a mocha colored head. Dissipates quickly and leaves a somewhat soapy lacing on the edges. Smells of great smelling roasted coffee, dark chocolate, almost like a hint of nuts, some vanilla. Very roasty and just smells like breakfast. Starts with strong flavors of coffee, and some bitter dark chocolate, little sweetness. Then in the middle it smooths out with the oats providing that creamy backbone. Then finishes with more coffee, bitter, dark chocolate, almost like a burnt toast taste, but in a good way, like a mocha flavor. Get some sweetness on the backend as well. Has a medium-high body with a nice creamy and slick texture. I’ve had this beer many times, and it never gets old. The smoothness of it at 8.3% with a great coffee flavor is a great combination. If you like coffee, you will like this beer.

33cl bottle. Pours black with an uneven foamy beige head. Aroma is lots of roastiness, oat, coffee. Taste is similar with roasted malts, bitter chocolate, coffee. Thick oily mouthfeel, full body, light carbonation. Light final acidity, excellent dessert like aftertaste.

One of my favorites of all time. Chocolate, caramel, and coffee, this stout is delicious in a bottle or on tap. I can drink one or 10, and love it just the same. The warmer the better, and anytime of the year. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Svart farge med lavt beige skum, med lukt av kaffe og sjokolade, smak av litt kaffe og mye sjokolade, en høydare.

Deep brown-black , with the slightest hint of red. Small dark tan head. Chocolate and deep roasted coffee in the nose. Very earthy. Quite bitter, not terribly sweet. Heavy body, upfront alcohol, chewy, some acidity, not a ton of carbonation. Long finish. Very well balanced. Excellent.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2015 Nice balance of sweet and bitter. Creamy full body. Actually find myself chewing while drinking this beer. Coffee is the star here. Just flat out enjoyable.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- It has a crazy bakery smell to it. very enticing. Appearance- It is like looking into the abyss! it is pitch black. with a small tan head. Taste- Wow, I am a novice venturing into the stout arena but this is incredible. A mix of coffee, cappuccino and hops. Palate- A heavy beer body wise with moderate carbonation. Overall- I am loathe to follow the beer snobs and call this awesome. . . but it truly is.

Svart med lavt brunt skum. Kakaopulver og mørk sjokoladelukt. Tung. Litt salt og noe søtlig mørk frukt. Mørk sjokolade og kaffe. Lite kullsyre. Kort. Flott imperial stout
