4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a pitch black color with a half finger of a mocha colored head. Dissipates quickly and leaves a somewhat soapy lacing on the edges. Smells of great smelling roasted coffee, dark chocolate, almost like a hint of nuts, some vanilla. Very roasty and just smells like breakfast. Starts with strong flavors of coffee, and some bitter dark chocolate, little sweetness. Then in the middle it smooths out with the oats providing that creamy backbone. Then finishes with more coffee, bitter, dark chocolate, almost like a burnt toast taste, but in a good way, like a mocha flavor. Get some sweetness on the backend as well. Has a medium-high body with a nice creamy and slick texture. Iíve had this beer many times, and it never gets old. The smoothness of it at 8.3% with a great coffee flavor is a great combination. If you like coffee, you will like this beer.

Mol bona stout amb infinitat de matisos torrefactes. Una mica agresiva al paladar per el meu gust

Choklad och kaffe. Krämig konsistens som fastnar lätt på glaset. Svart som natten och helt underbart.

Pours black. Small head that dissipates quickly. Smells of roasted coffee hit first. Taste of bitter dark chocolate hit the tongue first followed by roasted coffee. This is one if the best chocolate/coffee stouts. It finishes dry and bitter, not sweet at all.

355ml. Hi. Iím a coffee addict. Iíve come to accept it. I also love stout, and this dear friends lives up to the hype. I donít often preface a review with "I love it!" But there, I just did. Pours black with a thin mocha coloured head. The aroma has strong coffee notes, molasses, dried dark fruits, brown sugar, and a light ashy note. Full bodied, and medium sweet with heavy molasses, light caramel, coffee and dried fruit up front that leads into some bitterness, alcohol, some light fruity notes, and some serious roasty malt, black licorice, espresso, and molasses in the finish. Believe the hype. Do it!

This is my first rating, and itís also my 42nd birthday. This stuff is incredible. Iím not refined enough to provide a written description that could do it justice. Besides, others have already said everything worth saying. This is my favorite beer...period.

Opaque dark black body under a small dark brown head that quickly diminishes. Black coffee flavor is cut through by alcohol and wrapped up in dark chocolate notes. Brother-in-law gifted this one because he really likes it. I still donít like chocolate stouts

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2014 Bottle to tulip glass.
App.: Deep black with a great brown/mocha foam that disappear quite fast, to only a layer.
Aroma: Strong espresso with a roasted toast underneath. Hint of vanilla and alcohol here and there.
Taste: Smooth coffee, the one you make on sunday morning. Little floral seems to show up.
Palate: Big round and smooth, nearly syrupy. Low carbonation.
Quite complex but a good start in the morning!

Big bitter coffee notes on the nose and tongue. Dark chock and roasty notes. Maybe a bit over done on these flavours, but perhaps thatís why I liked it.
