4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle courtesy of Homer321. Pours black with a nice tan head that sticks around for just the right amount of time. Aromas are coffee, coffee and more coffee then some chocolate finished off with a nice roast malt undertone. Flavors are reminiscent of a great cup of black coffee, with bitter coffee notes then just a dash of rich cream and finally more coffee this time more similar to coffee grounds. Palate is very nice, though not as thick as I supposed it would be, which suits this beer better than a hugely thick beer would. Overall this is a very nice example of a breakfast stout, just enough coffee, not much to detract from that flavor and not overwhelmingly heavy.

Bottle. A shocked I had not rated this. Dark pour with a brown head. Aroma of coffee, oatmeal, roastedmalt, earth, caramel and nuts. Smooth and drinkable. Choxcolayte covered coffee beans. Meatiness and oatiness at times. Earthy and charred bitterness. Very good

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From bottle. Poured opaque brown black with medium tan head. Aroma of berries, cocoa, and booze. Drank with a dominant flavour of blackcurrant, bit of cocoa, and warm gentle numbing booze in the back.
The fruit ruined it for me; maybe the bottle had gone a bit bad.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Rating #1900. Bottle from Beer Cartel, Sydney. Poured an impenetrable black with a slowly fading though not entirely dissipating creamy tan head leaving a scattered lace. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, roasted malt, prune and raisin. Full-bodied with many of the aromas being echoed in the palate. Kept fresh by a lively carbonation. A little warmth on the back end with bourbon characters almost as though itís been barrel aged. Finishes smooth and long with high intensity throughout.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Dark brown with a small brown head. Aroma of chocolate and malt. Flavor is sweet, but balanced with high alcohol and mid-low bitterness. The mouthfeel is extravagant. I actually prefer this to the KBS. I feel like itís a bit cleaner.

Don't have to say much about this you already now. Cleary the best stout I have tasted and will struggle to find better. I'm still looking.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
355 ml, flaske, 8.3 % ABV, BB: 05/08/16, købt i Meny i Rotunden i Hellerup.
