You’ve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. We’re actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

From a chilled bottle. It poured a nice black hue with a brown head that had little retention and no lace. Aroma was a mix of sweet malts, coffee, dark cocoa and some roasted malts. Flavor seemed to have great balance. A great blend of sweet and roasted malts. Both the chocolate and roasted malts complmented one another while matching up with the malt flavors. alcohol was mildly present on the finish. A nice smooth mouth feel.

355ml bottle @ Kaisla. Black colored, thin brown head. Lots of coffee, roasted malt, hint of vanilla, some ash. Flavor has coffee beans, roastedness, some ash notes. The drinkability here is awesome. Hoppy finish, loaded with cocoa and coffee. Amazing stuff. Smooth.

Bold and caramel hints with deep stoutness. Not much of an aroma but a bold look as well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours black with a small white head. Nose is very much cocoa, chocolate and some coffee vanilla notes. Taste is chocolate, slight vanilla bitterness, coffee. Nothing super sexy jumps out but it’s a seriously well balanced beer. Never fails!!

Good brewery. Great style of beer. Wonderful execution. Lots and lots of coffee, chocolate and caramel in the malt but thick and creamy enough so as not to be overly sweet. Oily texture with a tan head that faded quickly from the bottle pour. Great one for winter evenings.

Malty stouty smell. Taste is a pretty standard roasty stout. You get some bitterness and sweetness, but it doesn’t scream coffee or chocolate to me. Full body with very slight foam.

12 oz bottle pour, much thanks to Alex. I owe you one for sure. Pours black with a thick tan head. It’s a shame that I can’t walk into a convenient store anywhere and grab this bottle like other people can. This is fantastic stuff. Big coffee roast aroma. Huge chocolate brownie like flavor with a more coffee centered finish. Tons of flavor here. Everything I love about imperial stouts. Loved this one.

Deep, dark brown, nearly black. Almost no head or lacing. Roasted malts and coffee beans on the nose. Crisp but creamy mouthfeel. Chocolate, cocoa roasted coffee beans, dark fruit. A delicious imperial stout.
