COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy headís floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This aleís sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

from crackedkettle.com - cloudy reddish-orange colour with a poor head retention; robust aroma of mango, strawberries and cream; a fair carbonation and malt backbone; very tasty and fairly bitter; quite dry and long bitter fruity and hoppy finish

Amber color with off-white head. Expressive floral centennial hops punctuate the nose with notes of citrus and pine and sweet honey. Flavor is a complex bitter-hop profile with a malty backbone that holds it together and makes it complete. Smooth finish and medium viscosity with a hoppy bite and late alcohol. Very nice.

Amber color with a nice off white head. Aroma is hoppy, somewhat piney. Flavor is also somewhat piney hops, not overpowering. Finish is somewhat malty, but hops are present throughout. Overall a very solid IPA good for grilling out and such.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Clear amber brew iwth an off white head. Pungent aroma dominated by citrus and pine hops. Flavor is dominated by the hops, though a solid malt backbone is the canvas on which the hops flavor is painted. Decent ABV level encourages poetic metaphors. Good mouthfeel with active carbonation that (along with the hops) leaves the tongue tingling a bit. Well, this is a fine IPA.

Bottle, pours an clean orange honey w/ a slight off-white resilient head, excellent lacing, aroma is very pleasant strong citrusy Centennial with some caramel malt support, flavor is lightly caramel malt followed by a huge Centennial wallop with long-lingering bitterness, medium body, great hop flavor but really needs some more balancing malt

AROMA - has a roasty malt; Citrus, Hops; Yeast is a dough smell. APPEARANCE - Color amber; clear liquid; minimal head TASTE - Bitter, medium towards a heavy PALATE - Body is a medium, Texture is thin; Carbonation is fizzy (but not over done); Finish is bitter and astringent Overall - Not the biggest fans of IPAís because of their bitterness. However, I just began beer tasting seriously a month ago or so. This is a great IPA for those who do not enjoy the bitterness of IPAís.

Tap sample at New Beer Dist. An extremely well rounded IPA. Eminently drinkable. Pours a deep amber with a strong citrus and floral hop aroma. Flavor is quite sweet and citrusy, with some bitterness coming in during the latter stages. Finish is smooth with subtle bite, and just a bit sticky. Great beer overall.

Pours a dense caramel color with a frothy white head. Aroma is sweeter than most IPAís-citrus and caramel. Lots of grapefruit and caramel malts in the undertone making the taste sweeter with muted hop bitterness. A nice beer, but I think I prefer my IPAís a bit more hopped.

Bought in a mixer-sixer at Jungle Jimís. First cut with this beer. Amber color, subtle floral/citrus aroma, nice balance of bitter and citurs flavor. A bit of caramel sweet and some pine. This is a nice IPA.
