COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

(Bottled) Clear golden with a medium, firm and lacy head. Very exotic-fruity aroma with resiny pine and grass. Flavor is quite bitter with pine-resiny, berryish, woody, fresh and aromatic hops. Dry, but balanced with maltiness. Medium body, soft carbonation, well-hidden alcohol. A fresh and tasty, nicely dry and balanced IPA.

12oz bottle. Pours coppery brown, little hazy, thin white head, light speckling of lace on the glass. Aroma is toasty bread and delicious fruity and citrusy hops - touch of honey. The flavor starts malty and bittersweet with pleasant resiny and grapefruity hop flavor and delicious level of malt sweetness. Midpalate has firm but very well balanced bitterness. Finish is somewhat dry with a decent bit of residual sweetness, an excellent hop profile (some citrus, light earthiness, hint of pine), and a touch of fruity esters. Mouthfeel is full bodied and moderately carbonated - very quaffable. Overall, a delicious IPA. Will definitely buy more.
