3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the Petrol Station - probably the only time it’s ever been here. Very clear and light orange with a small head. The nose has nice citrusy hops, not too strong or bitter. Flavor is sweet with tangerine hops and a light backdrop of caramel malt. A pretty standard IPA, really, but a very drinkable one.

Amber pour with medium off-white head. Citrus nose. Reasonably balanced light on the malts. Dry finish. Nice drinking but not mind blowing.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours deep amber with a cream colored head. Aroma strong of citrus/mango/floral hops and some light malts to balance this. The hops dominate the flavor, and they are bitter but not overpowering. A really good IPA.

This one is far worth the effort. Good crisp hoppy flavor and sweet to taste. Great IPA for the IPA guy.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Mix of amber, burnt orange and gold colors. A slightly off white head that was thick with a ton of bubbles. Well above average retention and lacing. The beer was cloudy due to its being unfiltered and some yellow highlights were hanging around at the bottom. Very fresh, floral hops jump right out in the nose at first. A ripe grapefruit citrus breezes in after a moment. Even picking out a dry cracker like aroma. Very well balanced and clean. Got a slight hint of a soapy smell. Just barely there. Strong grapefruit citrus burst through on the first gulp. Only a touch of alcohol follows. The bitterness is very prominent, but in a good way. A clean malty sweetness, maybe caramel, rounds out the flavor. Very good in my opinion. Medium mouthfeel. Dry and crisp. Covers the palate in a very thorough way, leaving a lot behind. A bit of alcohol "heat" makes the mouthfeel most enjoyable. A very good and enjoyable IPA. It’s easily drinkable and worth a try in my opinion. I could easily make a night out of this even with the higher ABV. Probably couldn’t do this two nights in a row, but definitely a brew I wouldn’t turn down if it was offered.

Nice beer but the head was a little explosive. Well balanced malt with hops giving it an easy drinking experience. No lingering aftertaste. Aroma is of some sweet malt with citrus hops coming through at the end.

Clean pour into my snifter glass. Nice oily lacing left behind around the rim. Sort of lighter in color then I was expecting, but still a good looking color. Has a very hoppy/citrus aroma, same with the flavor. Hops hit the palate first quickly followed by the malt backing and citrus. A very pleasing IPA.
