4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
WOW! Killer IPA! Has a nice cloudy gold color. Smells of hops and citrus with a little bit of floral scents. Taste is intense with hops and a little bit of malts. A great brew. Founders is starting to show me that they might belong with the likes of dogfish head and certain others.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a deep, amber/golden brown with a two-finger off-white, almost tan head. Sweet, floral hop flavor with hints of grapefruit citrus. Great, hop mouthful with a hint of citrus that lingers along with some a late-comer malt flavor. A very good IPA, the best Iíve had in a while, although certainly not the best Iíve ever had.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a pretty decent IPA. It poured a caramel gold color with a medium-light head that dissipated after a short while. In fact, 2/3 of the way in to the beer, It still has a bit of the head left. Never the less, it has very piny aroma, not too much citrus at all. It tastes on the bitter side, with a much stronger pine taste than I am accustomed to. I enjoy this beer quite a bit. I would try it again, for sure!

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Very average IPA.
Purchased a case on sale becuase it was a year old.
Very good, very foamy. I need to try a "fresh" one, because even over a year old it was hoppy and delicious.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the brewpub. Semi-cloudy amber with small white head. Aroma is up front citrus and tropical with caramel and bubblegum. Flavor is once again very hop forward citrus and tropical with very dry caramel but well balanced bitterness, semi-resiny, pretty tasty. Medium body and and creamy carbonation. Absolutely fantastic, one of those go to beers for sure. If this is fresh, this is way better than most ipaís even two hearted or alpha king.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle. Lightly hazed orange amber with a big white head. Fat grapefruit rind nose and flavor, some sweet caramel. Simple and solid, it brings the hops hard, and I dig it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap; deep orange color, thin head. Big grapefruit aroma. Hops (grapefruit), resins, medium bodied, a little overcarbonated. Good; Iíd like to try the bottle version some time. I think I like my IPAs a little bit leaner.
