COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

12oz. Bottle. About time some offerings from this brewery made their way into the DC area. This beer pours a ruddy orange color with a medium lacing white head. Nose is highly floral with prominent citrus notes. Flavor tends towards a robust hoppy bitterness, but is well balanced by the malt. Some grapefruit notes and crystal malt in the flavor profile. Carbonation is persistent. Mouthfeel is sticky and somewhat resinous, but not at all syrupy. Finish is dry, hoppy and lingering. Highly drinkable IPA.

Pours a hazy golden with an off white head. The head diminshes quickly, but produces decent lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine with a floral touch. Has good carbination and mouthfeel. A good blending and the alcohol is well hidden. Has a good bitterness. An oily texture. A medium body. A solid finish with a good aftertaste. This is a pretty good IPA.

Pours a nice cloudy orange with an off white head and decent lacing. Aroma of flowers, citrus and pine. Nice grapefruit and hoppy (did I mention hoppy?) taste. Floral aftertaste was jjust right... solid brew by Founders - not that I expected any less.

Aroma of exotic flowers and pine. On the palate the citrus is overpowering with a resiny pine finish. This is a nice spicy ipa with great bitterness. I really enjoy the hop regimen they used here.

Bottle. Pleasant citrus and pine aroma with mild caramel and toast background. Clear amber-ruby with lots of carbonation up to a lasting, thick white head. Very balanced with a strong malt presence and well-rounded hop character providing both bitterness and a mild pine and orange peel flavor. Very full-bodied.

Pours beautiful golden amber color. Decent amount of head, just about half an inch. Citrus, orange peel, along with floral scents in the aroma. Nicely balanced. Lacing the glass very well. Hops through the palate with a nice bitter finish. A hint of dryness in there but the floral flavor stays along in the aftertaste. Medium bodied.

Another stellar offering from Founders. They may just be the best all-around brewery I’ve ever drank. This had a nice malt backbone that really put it over the top. Must-try IPA.

12oz bottle from bruisin ales. pours a very nice dark copper/amber color with a very thin, white head at the edges. aroma is very nice and citrus dominated with orange, grapefruit, and lemon zest culminating in a slightly sour and floral tinge with very nice nutty, malty aromas joining in. flavor is delicious and unique with the floral nature of the hops dominating, much like two hearted. citrus notes of grapefruit and orange come through with almond and caramel malt flavors adding great balance. palate is smooth, medium bodied, nicely bitter with a solid, lingering finish. overall, a damn nice IPA.

bottle poured an orange amber color with a thin ring of head on the glass. aroma has citrus peel, grapefruit, sweetness, and light bitters. medium mouth feel but coats well with a nice frothiness. flavor has a little more hop power than the nose. citrus, pine, and bitter are all covered, just enough sweetness, and finishes with a pleasant dry hop.

Incredible IPA with a ton of citrus fruitiness in the aroma. Lovers of grapefruit rejoice, with a nice malt backbone. One of my favorite IPAs.
