Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Aroma is pine oil and flowery perfume. Pale malts and woody-ness are harsh. Could use a little more balance in the nose. The appearance is a hazy honey orange. Nice, fluffy head. Nice lacing. Flavor is very much akin to perfume. Pale malts come off very dry. Nice woody hops. Dark and bready roasted malt. Feels thick and slushy. Works for style, feels Imperial. It’s an East Coast IPA: woody and hefty and hop-heavy.

Enjoying this from a growler, pours reddish orange. Nice hop aromas, pine tree and grapefruit standing out, I’m also picking the same things in the taste, citrusy and hoppy. This is a really nice IPA.

12 oz. bottle from Grape & Gourmet. Pours golden orange with an off-white head. Big, but well-balanced aroma of pineapple, tangerines, pine needles, and wet grass. Bitter hop flavor yet well-balanced for a not too intense experience. It’s still a hop lover’s delight but the balance is exceptional. Founder’s makes great beers and this is indeed one of them.

Pours a not quite clear orange color with a very thin head, aroma of oranges, you can taste the hops in this one but they aren’t overpowering, there is a nice balance here, a slight bitter aftertaste reminds you that you’re drinking an IPA.

A little hazy golden colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma of hop bitter with some fruits and some sweet. The taste is bitter of hops with in the back some sweet of fruits. The aftertaste is long bitter.

Bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. The Pour is lively dark amber with foamy off white head. The nose is nice and hoppy without beeing over the top. Its calm and blooming with a lot of grassy and floral notes toped with some citric attitutes - nice hopping. The taste is likewise pretty hoppy with a bittersweet finish and a medium palate with a oily side. The taste has besides the obvious hoppy notes also some caramels and soap in a little artificial way. The bitterness in the finish is right on the edge. Nice and sound IPA that is absolutely worth drinking - ¨’m having this again thats for sure.
